GOD BLIZZARD this better not suck

Did any1 take a screenshot of SL s4 enchant before it was replaced with the yellow duct tape? That looked really good.

99% sure they forgot about it, prob coming in season 2.

Or knowing blizzard the season1 and season2 enchant will be exactly the same.

its probably gonna be some weird reskin… that being said. They have done well with a lot of things, and I hope they are gonna make it look awesome like the older enchants. Super dense particles and really unique coloring.

give me orange lightning and big gaudy fire to match the sets

If it doesn’t match the mog set and look more dramatic than Primal Fire I am going to be sad. The tabard seems to match though so I am optimistic.

all the 2100 enchants have sucked in the past, the old 2400 enchants were bis, also the new tabard is trash so dont expect much from the enchant

That tabard looks absolutely hideous. They literally couldnt match the theme of the 1800 set. Blizzards design team is absolutely pathetic

Tabard is cool looking, wouldn’t mind a red dreadflame with some lightning accents

MoP illusion with a different color would be so dope

A giant ball of fire to match the gear?!

I kind of like it. :dracthyr_cry_animated:

So true.

It’s still good, but it used to be great. System requirements have improved, so I wish they’d revert it.

My cousin cheesed [Bloody Dancing Steel] enchant scrolls (maybe they we’re BoA?) q’n 2’s on a 70’s prot paladin. There was some kind of over sight where you didn’t need to be max level to que rated. If you think solo q’s are slow imagine how long he had to wait to farm 2’s until 2200. The downside: This couldn’t be added to your xmog collection so basically only useful for BoA weapons aka leveling.

Oh, yeah. I remember some 70 got gladiator back in…mop? :dracthyr_comfy_sip:

The bloody dancing steel aka glorious tyranny fiasco was kind of unfortunate. Basically on Legion pre-patch PTR the illusions (that were generally 1 time use) became “Add to collection”, but as they cost conquest and that was limited there were people who missed out on the illusion despite being 2200 in mop or 2400 wod.

Yea, pretty sure it was a 70 rogue. Mop was the pinnacle of WoW Pvp so I applaud anyone who still has their original account from back then regardless of what they did for rewards/titles barring straight win trading or RMT pilots.

some weapons can bring its glow to similar levels. For whatever reason they just glow more. But it’s still not the same. Especially since those same weapons still did that back in mop and it was twice as potent lol.

The fang of Kalecgos is one I think, as well as Shiv of Exang both from SWP That’s a caster dagger from Uthgarde Pinnacle that looks like a sword that glowed large too. Among others. Not familiar w/ 2h. I know HWL pigsticker used to be popular back in actual mop.

I’m actually upset about how the glow shrink affected other enchants. Mongoose prenerf vs Mongoose now is night and day for example.

Also we still never got that TBC healing enchant glow back. :frowning:

While i believe these illusions should be a limited time reward, the quality can certainly be improved (compared to more recent illusions). I would love another red themed illusion to go with the crimson theme of this season. The new illusion should be different but just as epic as bloody dancing steel / glorious tyranny.

Even amongst the “tyranny” illusions there is a subtle difference. The glorious tyranny appears to have blood dripping off the weapon while the demonic tyranny has a sprial particle effect if you look close enough. These subtle differences are cool and I wish they had more of these tyranny illusions.

They should make an enchant for 2700 SS
2s and 3s are a dead bracket and too time consuming trying to find people to play

There is a skybox in game I’ve seen a couple times and it’s dark and cloudy with red lightning. I hope it looks like that.

I was 2250 in MoP s15, had the original red enchant but could not obtain the permanent illusion later because I did not have Duelist or Hero achievements from that season. I must’ve written dozens of tickets and forum replies about this issue since 2014; and it’s still unresolved. People with 2200 rating achieves from MoP should be able to obtain their enchants, but there were no use season-specific rating title achieves back then. TBH I don’t understand why this is so hard for them to fix… Achievements have dates on them. I bet it’s not even that many people who qualified overall (though the achievement IP check for restoration could probably be automated…) Moreover, in Legion, Glorious Tyranny was in-fact given to people BELOW the 2200 threshold from S14 Duelist achieve, which is unfair.

This is also why I think the Crimson (aka red) enchant better not be red like MoP, or at least it should follow the ‘stuck to the weapon’ model of Shadowlands as 2100 illusions do. BfA’s Dreadflame was the last ‘elaborate’ PvP enchant unfortunately, that had a special effect. I still use it over the one I got from shadowlands, although Sinful is pretty cool IMO.
