That would make sense. Put an NPC in Stormwind / Orgrimmar that lets you select whether you get put in the pve layers or pvp layers when you leave the city. (Assuming they have the tech to let separate layers have differing rulesets.)

IDC if we get OCE servers or not but what makes you assume we won’t get OCE servers? there hasn’t been a version of wow without OCE servers since we initially got OCE. We’ve managed to leave dead servers in era, Som and SoD in the span of a few years we will be able to abandon another fresh launch in no time dw

During classic, tbc and wotlk, OCE had a strong population, never had an issue finding groups, it was a great experience.
Let OCE have a server, if OCE players want to gamble on if the server survives or depopulates, let them, it has no effect on any other players what so ever. Can’t see a reason for any other players to be against it.
I’ve been hoping for a fresh restart for a while now, I just hope blizzard does come through and have an OCE server.

Make PvP and PvE Oce server, and let those Watchers dole out Soul of Iron buffs, sure there’s enough OCE players for 2 realms.

Lol, oce will just die out like every other single time. Just save the trouble of rerolling and start on the NA realms. Plus playing with 250 pimg is all part of Vanilla

The OCE population will eventually die after hype. Playing on USW is fine, there are zero issues with the ping. USW has a high population all the time. Also, by not having a OCE server, everyone will just roll USW and we won’t have a split of the OCE player base between USW and OCE servers.

I get those concerns, but arugal and Yojamba were fine for whole of classic and tbc. Arugal still had a decent pop in Cara (!!). There is no reason for us to have a sub-par service (ping does impact gameplay).

Oceanic player here and would love OCE servers, l just pulled the trigger resubbing before reading the posts and just assumed we’d get OCE servers, I certainly hope that’s the case otherwise I just spent almost $40 on essentially nothing haha.

Only 3 realms to cover all of OCE, NA and SA? that would be cooked.
