They need to look at currency rates. The initial rate at the onset of the event was too stingy, even with the ramp up after 100 tokens.
But the 400% increase was a bit of an overraction and sort of ensured that people playing regularly would just blow through everything on offer in a week or two and no longer interact with the event.
This. I’m actually feeling demotivated to play now that it’s gone. No more 5 minute AV queues. No more people playing transmog and mount games. All of those iconic side characters in one place. It was the hub of my WoW experience for a quarter of a year and now I’m just plopped back into the rainy, dismal siren isle with everything spread back out. The 20th event was a great mainline of content and the standard pace of WoW now feels boring by comparison.

From my perspective… it was fine and they hit the sweet spot with the increase. I’m playing regularly and mostly just did the weekly stuff and all the secret finding quests (did the raid just 2 times maybe). At the end of the event I only had 1 tier set for my main, bought only 1 title and the mounts, pets and toys - except for 1 mount because I didn’t manage to get the last 5000 TW badges. Saying that people could get everything in 1-2 weeks is the most wild and biggest exaggeration I’ve seen in the last months.
