Yes, but don’t buy one unless you already have one and you have a mostly competent GPU at present.
3070 is only $499 and close to 2080 ti performance and possibly 3060ti coming in October with better performance than current cards and cheaper.

yes, even at 1440p. That said I would not pay more then $275 for it as new RTX 3060 cards are being announced in October for around $349-399 and will offer better performance.
