I understand your frustration with the current state of the game and the difficulty of healing in the face of such devastating attacks. However, have you considered playing a protection paladin? They have over 400k health in arena making them much more resilient to the threat of deadly abilities like glacial spike.

Imagine complaining about a big damage long cast spell that has to be talented and built up to and can be countered by probably 5-8 different abilities of any 3 man comp… Or by simply going behind a pillar.
