2026 Roadmap

We know what the first quarter of the year is going to look like, with prepatch in less than 3 weeks, the event the following week. We also know early access is end of February and full launch at the start of March, with S1 a few weeks later.

But c’mon Blizz. What about the rest of the year? Roadmaps provide us with fun little tidbits to speculate about.

I eargly await the release of the 2026 roadmap, hopefully these are things Blizz still intends to do.

What surprise events are you anticipating?

I suspect a plorm at some point, seasonal updates and a remix at the last half of the .3 major patch

(I meant this as an expansion roadmap, not just 2026 also mostly as a joke so calm down)

I would be surprised to see a remix in 2026, based on typical expansion timelines I’d say that’s more of a Q2 2027 release.

Blizz said about 6 months ago they had no current plans for another Plunderstorm. I don’t think we’ll see one.

A Remix could happen, but if they want it in the final season again, then we’d be looking at 2027.

Could be a boring event year.

No one is mad lol.

One thing I wouldn’t mind seeing is another Collector’s Bounty.

I got all the mounts, so it would be nice to work on collecting loads of mogs.

No need for a roadmap - 2026 will involve hearthsteel, mtx and tons of recycled content using previous developers work.

DF was much more interesting with events and activities. TWW was just boring the whole way through. Maybe the only slightly interesting event was lemix, but it also fractured the playerbase as usual.

A roadmap would be nice. I’m still waiting for that Duskwood themed creepy content that we were supposed to get, as an alternative to Plunderstorm.

I would do a pet battle plunderstorm especially if it isn’t pvp and more of a feel of like the pet adventuring out in the world on their own

The Roadmap for War Within wasn’t released until prepatch. We’ve got a few weeks at least.
