Hi, coming back after a decade. I’ve heard the raider finder doesn’t work anymore so how do I raid Onyxias lair AND others these days? It’s content I never did back in the day and I’d love to do them, even if solo!
If you want to do them solo then level up such that you are at least 20 levels (I think) above the content level. Then this thing called a “legacy buff” will kick in essentially making you 1 shot most things in that content while taking zero or next to zero damage.
Onyxia’s Lair was a wrath raid so that’s level 80. Level yourself up to 100 and you should be able to go blast through it in a few minutes.
The alternative is to use the Looking for Group tool for Premade Groups for Legacy Raids. Search for raids forming to do the raid you want, or start your own.
Of course, Ony’s Lair at-level is supposed to be a challenging raid, and I’m personally skeptical that a pug of level-appropriate toons would be able to pull it off. (I’m cynical that way.)
Maybe it would literally be quicker to level to >100 to just solo it.
