Considering upgrading from my 2012 MacBook Air to a 2018 Mac Mini and was wondering if I’d be able to play classic on max settings in raids? I know the integrated graphics isn’t the best, but I just can’t bring myself to purchase a PC.
The system requirements for Classic are identical to that of retail. In a nutshell, they took old WoW and placed it inside the same backbone that runs retail WoW. Thus it has the same requirements even though it is a reboot of a 2004 game.
Classic is limited to 3 on the slider. You move it past that setting and it will no longer be using the Classic graphics settings (appearance).
I don’t believe any Mac mini without a eGPU attached to it will ever run WoW at max settings in a raid setting.
