20 years of ret - please change

Say’s who?

And rets effectiveness as a dps spec is limited by the fact paladin is a hybrid class

me, the warrior (protagonist and main character of the wow)

Duel me for it. (I’ll win.)

Nobody said competitive.

He said “enough to make us not a total meme”.

Can you read or do you just reply off the title and your own assumptions?

you gonna heal me to death?

Specialization, commonly known as spec, defines a player’s abilities, strengths and role in the game depending on their class.

At level 10 each character is able to choose a specialization. Selecting a specialization will determine:

Role - Tank, Healer, Ranged DPS or Melee DPS (hybrid classes only)
Additional active and passive abilities, including Mastery
Additional secondary resource mechanics (certain classes only)
Armor specialization - increasing a specific primary attribute (hybrid classes only)
Strengths, weaknesses and playstyle

Yes. Holy Shock spec lmao.

Typical retail tourist mentality, choosing a “talent specialisation” from three options
Vanilla has talent trees, not specialisation trees
“Specs” im vanilla are defined by stat distribution, “//*” spec rather than a pure spec

Nothing you said has anything to do with my reply to you.

yeah thats from the retail wiki. completely different version of the game lil bro

you’re still a healer, holy shock has a 30 second cd. i’d focus more on supporting as is the classes strength

Once again I’m not seeing a source for this made up information that totally isn’t some new pseudo game science of the day.

They arent a total meme
Ret is top tier in group pvp
They have great solo and farming abilities
Their dps in end game content is just outshined by pure dps classes, as it should be

In retail, not in classic.
Having 1 point into a tree doesnt make the character a certain spec.

They are absolutely a meme.

You wouldn’t know since you play in a carebear guild.

as intended

It isn’t different.

Talent points allow you to specialize in a spec and that spec has a role attached to it.

Each specialization is designed to perform a specific combat role - tank, healer, ranged DPS or melee DPS - and the active and passive abilities granted to characters of that specialization are designed to form a playstyle appropriate to that role. For instance, Protection paladins have numerous abilities to improve their defenses and draw the aggro of several mobs at once, making them perfect for tanking, while Holy paladins have a range of powerful healing and protective abilities, making them adept at healing and aiding their allies. While many abilities are shared by all members of a given class, the additional abilities provided by a character’s spec make them capable of performing their determined role to a high standard.

I’m going to support myself the entire fight. And you’re going to die. And I’ll put it in my sick montage video. And you’ll try to copyright strike it and you’ll lose that too.

that’s a compelling argument, you should submit it to blizzard and state why they’ve been going about vanilla completely the wrong way and why they should make paladins a viable dps and tank
good luck with that. in the mean time? don the dress

Just wear the dress, or join a dad guild
