2 Minute res timer

There should not be a 2 minute res timer if the SAME person has killed you over and over and over again. Just because some neckbeard incel is bored and has nothing better to do should not make me wait 2 minutes just to continue playing the game.

No, this is NOT a post whining about pvp. I love warmode and i don’t care about dying. but if the same person has NOT left your body and you have 2 minutes to res what is even the point?

I agree it’s too long. If you’re in a group doing cta you’re letting the group down being dead for two mins. And even if there is another member who can Rez you most times they won’t.

If I’m solo and it happens. I just get up and do something else. Make a drink. Stretch my legs. Watch some YouTube. And that 2 mins turns in to a heck of a lot more. Ergo it takes out the engagement of the game.

If a horde group is seriously corpse camping me I just log out and play later.

I’m all for WM. Really love cta quests each week. Especially love zuldazar and doing it on the docks. But being corpse camped and waiting for Rez timers becomes extremely

That doesn’t apply when it’s a high lvl camping a low lvl. You can’t magically become their level and own them.

the res timer is to discourage people from dying to often for various reasons, it has no correlation to how you are dying. you could be getting killed by a PvE mob over and over and it would still give you the increasing res timer

Warmode doesn’t really exist. It is more like gank mode. It is never even close to a fair fight for either faction. It is either 5v1 or 10v1.

The timer is supposed to encourage one of a few outcomes…

  1. the course camper gets bored and leaves to find new prey
  2. you choose to res at the graveyard
  3. you take advantage of the large radius for res to res in a safer spot to get away
  4. you contact some buddies to clear the corpse camper while you wait

Of course it is also meant to encourage you to make better use of your skill set to avoid dying so frequently as well (though often times this is not possible, especially in when it comes to PvP. Most classes can’t do anything about being one or two shot by someone higher level)

I don’t PvP so I was just trying to remember advice I’ve seen from PvPers.

Unfortunately, this mostly ever happens when its a alt being caped by a max lvl and you can’t do anything.
