Stampeding Roar:
In Delve build suggestions, or almost any talent tree suggestions, I see Stampeding Roar and Improved Stampeding Roar included. Extra movement speed in a delve doesn’t seem so important when we already move decently quickly (I’ve done Zekvir ?? and T11s).
Snapshotting
Wowhead guides say that DoT snapshotting still exits for druids. Does this mean that the effect of Sabertooth* does not apply to existing DoTs?
Sorry for the noob questions, but I’m just trying out Feral now, so I’m still getting up to speed.
Thanks!
** Sabertooth: For each Combo Point spent, Ferocious Bite’s primary target takes 3% increased damage from your Cat Form bleed and other periodic abilities for 4 sec.*
You have to take stampeding roar talent to access Lycara’s Teachings, Instincts of the Claw and Circle of the Wild. Beyond those, it is a choice node depending on what content you are doing and what you feel comfortable using. Most often you will want to have Improved Stampeding Roar when doing M+ and sometimes you will want it for raiding, although there can be more beneficial talents in raids over Improved Roar.
Sabertooth applies a debuff that increases the effect of the dots already on the target. If you have a rip the target, using a 5 combo point fero bite will increase the damage by the rip during it’s ticks by 15%. For example, if your rip is ticking at 10k and you use fero bite, it will tick for 11.5k during the duration of the Sabertooth debuff.
Snapshotting for feral druid’s bleeds applies from Tiger’s Fury and Bloodtalons (Tiger’s Fury will also buff your Adaptive Swarm after the first initial jump). You can also get an “empowered” rake via Pouncing Strikes (raking from stealth) or a Sudden Ambush proc. Moment of clarity can also be considered a snapshot but it will only buff Thrash, Shred or Brutal Slash/Swipe on the next use.
Dreadful wound from the Druid of the Claw provides an additional bleed, and also benefits from Tiger’s Fury, but is not affected by Circle of Life and Death Talent (which causes bleeds to tick 20% faster).
I hope this helps

You’re welcome! There is also a very in depth guide on [ dreamgrove. gg ] for feral druids and the druid discord has a few other resources available.
Have fun!
Oh yes, very nice page, thanks! Enough info without being overwhelming.
