I get that it has to be custom, and I’m fine with that

  • But why can’t I filter the level I want to see (say +10 to +13)
  • Why can’t I filter by “roles available” (if I am looking as a healer, I don’t really care about runs where the healer is already selected)

And no, that is not hard to code, don’t even try that excuse, thx.

I believe this isn’t a thing due to keeping an illusion of a busier group finder than what it really is.

blizzard jsut needs to get rid of m+ and with a level squish and class redesign they mite.

It already does this. Groups with your role filled are sorted to the bottom of the list.

The more filters you create the less ppl you will find and more apparent will be the population.

Obviously Blizzard does not want you to find that out . :rofl:

You can filter via ilvl and m+ groups. However that doesn’t help when people list groups wrong sometimes (but then again the higher keys don’t do that). Also it shows you the breakdown of the classes that are in the group per each role type.

Also blame blizzard for progressively destroying the group finder since legion’s pre-patch. 7.0 requiring to be in the same zone as the leader to then shard over; 7.3 WQ group finding nerfs; 8.0 auto-accept removal, addons cannot paste in the field (can’t search group names in the background), and 8.1 with a complete nerf with addons (using names) while the finder is open. The old premade group finder addon (not the linked addon) can only search via age of the group. Plus a variety of other nerfs

All you can do now is what the first linked addon can do. I can’t remember all the api jargon but the scope is far less than before.

2 expansion still bad pvp legion templates and bfa is just bad game design.

Premade group filter addon will do some of this.

I agree the interface needs huge improvements

Templates aren’t a thing anymore in bfa (like they were in legion, their removal is why twinks have their own bg queue again since 8.1.5). However there is now ilvl scaling in pvp, so far this is the only known example of what ilvl scaling is for pvp (from a wow game designer): https://twitter.com/ckaleiki/status/1041878657701052416?s=21

i know they arnt a thing i was just saying legion pvp was bad because of it and bfa pvp is just bad.

i hope not. i love that there’s ways to get gear outside of raids. take that mentality back to classic where it belongs.

literally type that into the search… If i’m looking for 15 keys, which i frequently am, i just type 15, and it usually displays everything with a variance of 1, so 14-16s

Runs with healer already in the group are at the bottom, so just… don’t scroll all the way down? Check upper groups?
