$2,000 mount

The site I normally buy my WoW swag from had the “Spectral Tiger TCG” for sale… For $2,000.

It was bought today and was only posted for 3.

That’s absolutely ridiculous to me.

WoW swag? Like Yeezys with horde symbols on it or something? That’d be dope

Imagine paying that much for a bunch of pixels. For me at least even if I was filthy rich I wouldn’t pay that much for a cosmetic pixel.

I can’t imagine spending that much money on a mount. That’s ridiculous. Especially with how WoW is doing, I can’t imagine anyone would care if you have it.

Used to have someone on my server telling me how much gold he had and all his expensive mounts, and I wasn’t interested really

I’m glad I got the epic version for half a million gold a few years ago.

Some people will do anything for a mount.
There was a lady during BC expansion that traded sex for a 5k gold flying mount. This was on Laughing Skull Server.

Cant you just wait for it to appear on the auction house for the gold cap and buy it out for several hundred dollars cheaper with wow tokens? If you really wanted to waste money that is.

His/her $2000 might be your $10.

You’re not paying just for the pixels. You’re also buying the card. There’s a reason that Black Lotus still goes for thousands of dollars and people frame it as a collectable.

I’ve bought a few of the cheaper TCG items over the years, mostly pets, but I can’t see dropping that much on a single item.

Yeah it’s nuts, but people pay for cosmetic items, virtual cash, and all kinds of stuff in a game they’ve already purchased all the time.

2K seems like a lot to most, but some people just really have to have stuff.

I paid $600 for two copies of a rare video game from the 80s once, just so I could get a complete version with the box and manuals. Sold off the extra and made $300 back off the remaining items. So, I paid $300 just to OWN a game, that frankly kinda sucked, but I did it because it was rare.

I have a physical copy of a bunch of pixels I ultimately paid $300 to obtain. I had the cash at the time and I went for it. I have no regrets.

The only people buying it are the ones trying to flip it and sell it for more money.

I have been in the business of mounts and it’s a hit or miss with the cards. I did this for about 2 yrs. About 20k earn

Pure example above ^^. I’ve earned 1000+ positive reviews

Lol yep. I got the epic version and the chicken for 400k each and the rare version for 350k. I got all the other TCG mounts for 200k each or way less. Well, except the blue rocket. That one stayed expensive. Anyways, thank you Blizzard for all that WoD gold :moneybag::money_mouth_face::moneybag:

I look at the big picture.

I see something for over 1000 dollars for this game, like a TCG mount.

I then think about how long this game has left.

That usually influences my decisionsm surrounding anything WoW. at least i can cancel sub.

Not to familiar with Black Lotus, but in the end $2000 for anything pixel related is ridiculous.

A Black Lotus MTG card, depending on its condition, goes from between four to ten thousand.

Someone may spend two grand on a card and not use the code, just to have as a display piece.

However, a used Spectral Tiger card only goes for a few bucks. The value is the mount.
