I am sick of waiting for my teammates to be online or dealing with the toxic LFG arena system, i just want to log on and play arena based off my own skill.

45sec knockout time for stealth classes
Yes i am well aware that some spec’s and classes will be overpowered but with the correct corruption/gear adjustments, anything is beatable in a 1v1.
Start off by making a 1v1 Skirmish arena’s and see how the feedback goes to making it a ladder bracket.
Why insane damp off the get go? Doesn’t that totally nerf hybrids? I mean our heals are garbage these days as it is lol. Either way I guess, I love 1v1’s so, I’d be down.

amke it so dps fight dps, heals fight heals, tanks fight tanks. obviously there would have to be things added in to deal with stealth classes so they couldnt abuse dampening if it was in there.
people call 2v2 a joke but absolutely crap on the idea of 1v1, i dont get it… its not like any1 would force u to 1v1
yeah 2v2 and 3v3 is alot more balanced than 1v1 is. stealth is not the reason rogue would win every game. Literally just kidney shot, apply bleeds, 60% slow, then run behind pillar till next kidney.
The game is basically rock paper scissors when dueling.
Because it’s going to be mostly whoever is the strongest 1v1 class is, so essentially it would be a waste of time and development. When they could spend the time on balancing.
Would love a 1v1 bracket. Sure rogues would crush most folks. But if they put something in place to break stealth every 4 seconds of so it would be fine. Im not saying rogues are the best a good feral could work one over, along with many other classes.
1v1 is all I would play since lfg sucks. I hate 3s because I only know one person so im already limited to just 2v2 when hes on. WHen hes not on i have to drop my rating to play with randoms. This would allow me to continue playing while not worrying about my rating.
I wouldn’t say rogues would be the best 1v1 class, a good Survival hunter, Unholy DK, geared DH, geared Feral, geared Frost mage etc… can shred rogue in a 1v1…I think the match ups would be super cool to see play out in an arena setting.
The arena maps could also have aoe proc knock back on the pillars which randomly go off during the arena to help pilar kiting classes. The possibilities are endless to be honest, a lot of slight adjustments can be made to the map to help balance the classes.
In regards to dampening, i just think having faster paced games is a must in the 1v1 arena setting is always better but i would be open to anyway of achieving that.

Yes but access to gear is better than ever, there really isn’t any excuse if you are doing all your arena caps, M+, raids, vision’s, dailies, weekly’s etc…
I go to work at 8 am I usually get off at about 530 most days (however with the current situation in the world its been more like 7), takes me 15 min to get home/work. I’ll cook and eat, if I have nothing else to do no house work or other errands, then I get time to do things like play a video game, however by that time it’s already between 8-9.
Leaving me with only a couple of hours before I need to head to bed to start the day over.
So when I sit down to play a video game, I rather not have to do things in an area that holds no bearing.
It’s like saying you want to play battleships, but I force you to play Simon Says first to prepare.
Edit: Before you say weekends, there are things like mowing the grass, going outside and enjoying nature because I spend all week in an office in front of a computer and dont want to do that 7 days a week.
So just because you find you have an over abundance of time due to a lack of real responsibilities, doesn’t mean everyone does.
If you keep any achieves, titles & mounts out of it sure, why not if some people have fun. Will be really dumb and frustrate people because of HOW much certain classes dominate and how easily some beat others but overall I’m sure some people would enjoy it a lot to kill time. Would also just be an easy spectator event for people to watch, especially for people who aren’t super into WoW or WoW PvP.
