this. Also RR is more fair than what could happen. If a tank wants ALL orbs, they can get all orbs. A war’s repair costs and he needs to spend more on raid consumes for tanking than any other spec. It’s in your best interest as dps to let the tank roll on whatever they want this early so the total number of tanks is more.
Also a guild should be helping on orb farms/consume costs so this is really not an issue.

I am guessing what he really means is that the tank/healer groups that HR all orbs. Form slower and get the dps looking for gear or quests. ie: get solo rogues/hunters that can’t find groups, mages that want neck, and lvl 55’s.
I get messaged almost instantly every time I join queue as a healer/dps. He is exactly right that there are a lot of dps warriors tanking. There is not the short supply of tanks for relevant content at the moment. They just want to pretend there is so they get to HR.

Exactly. It’s not just strat orbs it’s basically every dungeon past BRD. There aren’t that many tanks in a raid. Vast majority of warriors will DPS. Everyone needs the same couple items out of dungeons. When people HR it just dramatically slows down groups actually forming
BS. Healers can heal DPS Warriors all day and night in dungeons. They do anyway. There are very few traditional “tank” players running dungeons anymore
I would rather heal up a ragtag group than have a “tank” get a guaranteed orb and then also get to roll again on RR right away, potentially getting 2 orbs before I get 1
Getting handed 1 orb then wanting a 2nd before anyone else gets 1…miss me with that!

- Yes I agree on this interpretation. It was his “payment” that you all agreed on, he’s free to roll on the second.
- I would not agree to go if anything is reserved, so no.
- As stated in 2. I would not be in this situation. But if, I would be OK with it. I did agree to this. He did not “pull” anything, he followed the agreed upon loot procedure. He was lucky second time around. I would be disappointed that I did not win, but then I almost never do.

Anyone not prefarming consumes a week ago is already losing a ton of gold.
FAPs jumped 4x in the last week alone, and they’ll probably double or triple again by the end of the first wsg week

At 19s a pop it wasn’t worth the effort to farm the oily blackmouth.
Not yet. That said, the bots are trying, but not keeping up with demand, so prices will keep going up (and big spike once wsg premades start getting sweaty).
FAP’s are creeping up in price. You honestly should have already had all that stuff farmed if you plan on PvPing imo.

I’m not really sure what that has to do with farming PvP consume mats before they rise drastically in price and the farms become highly contested, but ok.
The vast majority of the playerbase outside of the very hardcore who are already 60 will be doing the PVP Grind too, they’ll just be starting it around when BWL or AQ drops.
