"1st orb to tank then RR"

Orb drops. Tank gets first orb. Another orb drops. Tank rolls need again and wins second orb. He gets two; you get none.

Three questions:

  1. Do you agree with this interpretation of the loot rules as stated?
  2. If the tank were to explain to you he also gets to roll need after the first orb would you even agree to go?
  3. If he were sitting on the computer next to you and pulled this what would you do?

I just ignore any groups that HR any orbs/runes so I don’t have to deal with these shenanigans.

I mean if you have it on open rolls for group loot there’s nothing you can do about that. I’d say it’s entirely up to him at that point and his integrity

I would just ask for clarification on what the RR rules are. A lot of tanks will HR the first one and then the RR starts, meaning they also get to roll.

I personally don’t agree with it, I think if they HR the first one they should pass until the RR has run it’s course through the group. But that seems to be the mindset of most people HR’ing orbs.

Yes. If it is RR, and first one goes to tank that would be different, but if it’s 1st to tank then RR, it is explicit.

If I wanted a tank for that run, then yes.

I mean it’s easy for me.
if I run into a tank like you I just put you on my ignore list and we never run together again unless you get invited by someone else.

Boot that greedy bastard; he’s broken the rules.

RR tank gets first orb means he’s first up not that he gets a roll on Orb 2.

Also you don’t NEED a tank in these dungeons, just bring anyone with sufficient armor class or stamina to soak damage and hold aggro.

Tank gets 1st orb and his RR is done until all others get one

I’d let the tank know there is an issue if I saw him take the 2nd orb from me or someone else. Super poor edicate and you immediately piss off four other people

Whiny healers are also jerkwads.

TLDR; Create your own groups with contacts/friends and this solves your issue. But you gotta have contacts and friends first :wink:

Tanks don’t need anything from Strat live so if you don’t like them rolling on RR after first HR goes to them then they will just leave after the first orb and immediately have another group ready to go.

Don’t like it than don’t bother doing Strat live or accept that tanks are only there for orbs.

My warrior tank doesn’t even reserve the first orb in their runs it’s purely just round robin, and I have 4 orbs on that warrior.

Some people are just entitled.

I would expect the tank to also be included in the RR
