I tried repeatedly to pay for 1 month sub but kept getting an error msg saying it was the wrong card (weird). So I deleted my card info and re-entered it, it worked!!..went to log into wow and says it needs active time to play world of warcraft. Oh I guess I gotta wait 3 pending days for the bank to clear it (had a wow ticket open explaining this). Nope, its cleared and still wow is asking for money and it took 68.00$$??? RIP. I even stated in the ticket I want ONLY 1 MONTH and to subtract from/if any other payments were made accidentally.
I recommend not purchasing 1 month subscriptions with debit/credit card . It used to be instant sub now there having problems.
Never trust a WoW CSR about payment issues. They are VERY poorly trained and will tell you whatever nonsense that comes to mind. Contact your CC company directly and have them do a chargeback for the amount Blizzard overcharged you.
Trying to pay for a single month of gametime is way too hidden and goofy than it should be (I refuse to do it as a sub). I put exactly $15.90 in my blizzard balance and then use that to pay for a single month. Instead of the single month option being a choice next to the subs, it is all the way near the bottom of the oddball purchases like vanity pets, mounts, character transfers, boosts and other garbage sundries.
