donated… you donated to a charity and as a gift, you and everyone else were given a free pet as a gift. do you not understand the difference between donations and purchases?

You don’t seem to understand that “free” is a word that is often misused a lot. If you have to pay for something to get it, it’s not free. To say that it is free would be misunderstanding the different between donations and purchases. And plus calling it a gift would imply you wouldn’t need to do anything to get it.

i bet youre the kinda guy that when the grocery store has a special where you spend $100 on grocery purchases, you get a free toaster (or something), and youll go “OMG they want $100 for that toaster!?!?”
also, i got Bananas and Daisy, and i didnt have to do anything for it…

You donated to an organization directly, your money spent is not a transaction you would pay to buy in game service goods like pets/mounts
If you donated and expected Daisy in return, you have the wrong thinking of what a donation is truly is

Even if you didn’t pay anything and just waited, the fact there needs to be something in order to make it “free”, doesn’t make it free.
I mean even Clark pretty much made that point clear that it’s not free by his own admission. 
Funny, because that’s one of my previous comments yesterday on somebody’s reply on how Donations don’t need “rewards”. You should donate without expecting anything in return, so why have the pet even?

weird, it should be today agreeing in WoWhead that this April 23 should have been enabled, now it will not be for all servers or only English (US) servers.
Because donating without a goal never really works except for the people who donate for a true purpose
Majority of the people like you would never donate had daisy/bananas never been a goal to meet
If Blizzard said “hey guys donate to this organization but don’t expect anything in return”, would you still have donated $5? Most likely not

It’s a new, unique pet, not a reskin or recolor of something. It’s a SLOTH (cute!). She also apparently will ride on your back.

you SHOULD have donated without expecting anything. but Blizz as a thank you for people donating, gave people a free gift. Blizz took no money from this, we literally gave nothing to Blizz, and yet they gave us 2 free pets.
there was no reward for donating. if there was everyone who donated would have just gotten the pet. but they didnt, and there was a chance they wouldnt have. there was a gift for meeting a goal on whole of the donations.
its still the 23rd. it didnt say at the strike of midnight on the 23rd, it said as soon as they can get it on the store, on the 23rd… theres many hours left in the day before it becomes the 24th. THEN you can complain.

I’ve already talked about this in the comment i linked previously, you can go and follow that. I’m not going to get into that again.
And i’ve already told you on why it’s not free and how you keep on telling me “if nobody donated, nobody will get it”, which again goes to reinforce my point. I mean this is to convince me that it is free, then this is one of the reasons why i think “free” is misused here. But hey, why be honest with ourselves the word “free” sounds nice? 
Also the assumptions isn’t warranted.

Probably everyone hopes it will hang on to their backs like in the little trailer that shows it off. Pet battle wise, any enemy will probably die of boredom waiting for it to make a move.
