I’m not sure about the youth tournaments but that sounds pretty cool.

Hey! I was just about to make a thread with this exact same concept lol. I think it would improve people’s experience in unrated PvP. And people wanting to stomp others because they’re using a cheesier set-up can just play a Paladin! Make sure conduits scale down to 197 ilvl as well. GG

Getting deleted over and over again pushed me away from pvp. Give regular players a decent way to get gear. Also I’m not feeding that meat grinder one bit

It takes 10s of wins to get and/or upgrade individual pieces of gear in PVP. It takes a single boss kill for someone else to trade you loot in PVE. Alt gearing in PVP is broken.

PvP players don’t need skill. Gear carries easily in this game.

it would.be nice if when you cued it tried to que you with players of a similar ilvl then expanding every so often… example… ilvl 200 joins randombg it would look.for Ilvl 195-205 player after x minutes that search expands to 190-210 ect ect

its the same logic apply to twinks not be able to queue into bg to stomp not geared players.

Difference is twinks weren’t at max level.
That’s the trade off for being able to solo que the gear.
People aren’t mass trading pieces of gear until atleast mid tier at the earliest.
Most people are definitely not doing random bgs at a rate of 8 conquest per win to get an ilvl 200 chest piece that costs 875 conquest that can’t be upgraded from solo queueing

Random BGs aren’t supposed to be how you get conquest gear.
Arena and RBGs are the way to grind those gear sets.
Can’t solo queue those though

I don’t know why they bothered with honor gear tbh its useless
Its as irrelevant as heroic dungeon gear
Honor gear being renown capped at ilvl 184 while we were running around with 226/233 for a month was

Honestly, why even have it in the game if it is going to do nothing for the players progression.
You take the time and honor to upgrade it but you stuck in the same position you started.
You get one shot before getting honor gear, and after too!

I’d say it’s probably there for people to grind at the beginning of the season.
Any char that starts grinding three months after the season starts should expect to be at a disadvantage.
There’s an entire difference.
Most think brackets that have newer players don’t even have full sets of gear.
You also never were a part of the twink community because most of the people tried to set up actual games against each other. If you tiwnkee you recognized people on both factions.
it’s the opposite, it got better as 197 vs 226 is better than 184 vs 226. but still really bad
Personally I think they need to just remove upgrading gear.
Honor is x level
Conquest is y level
T2 only improves weapons.
Throw a pvp only stat on it
