TWW event, did something change?

So i log in to continue the event, this feels like a completely different even from literally yesterday. It takes forever to kill the mini bosses and the actual bosses are also taking forever.

Did they stealth nerf the fun out of the event?

i mean, wtf at this point. It was great, I was having a blast with it.

Why ruin it?

To be fair just going back and forth between Hakar Hogger and Stitches (for example) wasn’t fun it was just the fastest way to do it.

But I don’t understand why Blizzard doesn’t take the easy wins. They could have just made it all 1-shot.

I was enjoying it. I was actually engaged. Now? I don’t even want to play it anymore. It doesn’t feel worth the time.

Because everyone was only doing the mini bosses and not the other events. Now it’s faster to do the other events. I love that people haven’t still caught on and I just complete them myself. Get twice or three times as many currencies as people fighting mini bosses.

Just adjust your strategy.

oh i have lol

this seems to be their new slogan lately.

Maybe make the events less terrible? The frog kiss daily, boar livers, green hills of stranglethorn. People remember this stuff because it sucked.

Why would they recreate that.

I get all of the interaction events done while they are fighting the mini bosses and then I swoop in while they are still fighting them and finish them off, win-win.

Double dip.

From what I’ve seen (on EU servers), is that many people are playing on low lvl alts so everyone’s more or less auto attacking the bigger mobs, which is my take from why it takes forever to kill things. It took me a good 10 minutes to kill Ragnaros yesterday, nearly everyone around me were 10-50.

Also, that wowhead article were posted 3 days ago. Only the hotfix from yesterday mention the scaling of minibosses (e.g Thorim) has been increased, so those would stay alive longer.

I wish undergeared people would at least have the courtesy to stand there and do NOTHING until the boss is at like 20%, then attack it.

Would make everything go a lot faster, for everyone.

To be fair, we didn’t really need this scaling at all. Just the other fixes.

The whole thing seems so convoluted. I feel extremely frustrated and am not having fun at all! Why does everything need to be so finicky? /cry.

Past expac events have always been great.

Change with the times.

Join a raid group
Do non miniboss events (except frog kissing, liver farming, and maybe even page farming).
Get massive amounts of currency and XP if on an alt. Literally under 5 minutes a level (even 3 mins) if the swarm has people actively doing stuff and isn’t filled with lazy leeches.
Someone keeps an eye on minisbosses and directs swarm there IF it is low enough and feasible to do because some ninny will still go there anyway so may as well let them do most of the work and then swoop in for full rewards and move on again.

Change for what reason though? Thats the real question.

It is just a little more pew pew and hit hit that is all nothing to be bitter about. It is tuned so others can partake in it instead of people downing the bosses in such a short amount of time, nickers now untwisted…

And now seems like we may not get as many end bosses in a time period.

It’s not “ruined”; stop being melodramatic.

The frog kiss event ain’t so hot but the others are/were great for leveling because you can get lots of tags in for extra experience that the mini bosses do not give.

I do think they went a bit overboard with boss health but I do prefer that boss encounters take a bit longer to do than the “just kill the mobs” events.
