19 year old game

Why are you causing crashes? Ive updated drivers, turned down all my graphics and sound (sounds off), and I am still crashing.

Come on guys, clean this up!

We can’t answer questions about crashes without system data. Please add a DxDiag.

Mine crashes because I don’t have enough disk space to download the whole patch. Is 100+ GB really necessary?

I don’t care anymore if I continue playing or not. Any hurdle like this is just more reason to retire. Almost half my hard drive is WoW. That’s silly.

Battle.net could be on another drive.
Remove Screen shots…
Remove Interface Directory… Game will make a new one. Same for WTF directory…untill you get it downloaded.

If the game is on C: drive with windows.
Removing the downloads from updates and other games or programs you do not need. Set your page file very small… Then let windows control after you download the game.

Really need about 20% free space on the drive to run game.

Buy a thumb drive and move the items you want to keep, on that.

I have a 256GB SSD just for Windows and 512 GB SSD for my games.

Good luck…have fun.

The system requirements list 128GB free space. See: WoW folder size increased since 10.2.5 - #3 by Zuvykree

If you have a desktop its cheap to upgrade to a larger SSD. Even if you have a laptop not expensive at all
