Just the way that Blizzard’s very random, no thought put into it at all, matchmaking works. 90% of my games seem to be very one sided. So if twinks are involved either one side doesn’t have any at all or one side has way more.
Back in Vanilla I did make a NE Priest though to combat twinks. She was sort of lightly twinked (I was trying to get to 60 with her and also didn’t have the funds to fully enchant her and gear her) but I did OK and did have some fun with her. My biggest issue in vanilla was that I wanted to play a horde druid a bit in pvp and since that was my only horde toon I didn’t have the funds or means to twink him.
Anyway my only issue really with twinks with classic is that because fo the stupid phase rollout we are never going to have battlegrounds without them. We don’t know the exact schedule but if each phase lasts a few months that will be plenty of time for people to gear up their twinks in every bracket.
Level 60 won’t be immune either. By the time WSG (and especially AB which is coming even later) rolls out there will probably be some people in full or nearly full MC gear and even T2 pants and helms from Rag and Onyxia. And BWL rolls out with WSG and AV. I expect a full clear of BWL a day or two after release. I doubt PvP gear will come as quickly with only world PvP for phase 2.
Since I really only want to play classic for the PvP I am just kind of bummed it won’t be anything like my classic experience. I think it is kind of dumb of them to roll things out the way they are.
