It’s in your mailbox. When you mouse over the xp item it says you get an 18% xp bonus until the end of the event.
you get the quest to go to CoT and the exp/rep item in the mail.

Yeah Blizz still haven’t managed to have calendars auto-update after DST changes. Pretty inefficient if this is something that has to be done by hand or requires a weekly reset.
Should be something they fix alongside offering an in-game calendar that allows users to pick server or local time, instead of forced pacific.
You just get it in the mail.
Aside : Korrak’s Revenge is bugged at cap. the Button flashes in and out because there’s already 5 buttons on the UI. Sometimes it’s there, sometimes it’s Solo Shuffle.
Maybe just have all the events listed as GMT, and you can set your WoW client’s timezone and it auto shows the correct time.
Would that be too modern ?

Likely incase someone has addons that auto destroy stuff or they blindly vendor/delete everything.
Also glad that they shifted to an ever present consume passive in the past few years was annoying to look at buffs and see it had dropped off past the hour.

I would prefer UTC, but they really need to get that sorted out. Would really help for their blueposts and all other news too since that can be time-tailored based upon who views them with browser fingerprints. Too many people asking repeat questions or getting confused about when stuff occurs.
But yeah probably too modern.

Shouldn’t they be the same? I thought the servers were in California.
My server is an East Coast server and is not in the pacific timezone.
Oh this is interesting. I did a search and a WOWPedia site came up. It says they have data centers in three locations, LA, Chicago and Sydney. However they have servers in these locations that do not use their local time.
So your Eastern Time server is probably physically located in Chicago with it’s clock set to Eastern Time.
I’m on the East Coast but my server is set to Pacific Time.
Yeah, it’s from Chicago identified by my internet service provider. The same was true when I played League of Legends.
