Hi! I’ve been reading a lot about the 18th anniversary event, but I’m not sure how to “start” it. I don’t see the anniv bag on any of my characters, and I wanted to get on that before I start on a new alt.

at 10 am pst( i assume) you should get a quest automatically that sends you to Caverns of Time

It starts at 10am PST.

It’s confusing because sometimes the times listed on the in-game calendar are for pacific time and others are for server time.

Yeah, the event says 10AM but is probably for 1PM (EST) yet my resets also say 10AM but always happens at 11AM (EST).

i thought all game(non user created)events are listed at PST though.

Correct, because there should also be an experience bonus which I would guess would appear as soon as it starts.
you’ll get the xp buff from an item in the gift you get, iirc its sent to us via mail.
Ah, I thought that was global like the 50% thing we just had.
No, you click on this item and it gives you the buff for an hour or so.
It’s the exact same stuff as last year. Nothing new. Lame.

Even just started; I forgot Daylight Savings Time happened today… You get the buff through an item in the in-game mail.

It’s a one time click and the item is used.
The event just started, BTW.
Edit: The item includes a Rep bonus as well. I’d forgotten about this.

Guess it was 9 PST after all. Cool total non event with the same content as before.
