lol you could have made the title any number below 3100 mmr and still been correct. Yesterday I had a 2800 cr Hunter refuse to leave stables for half the game because the other team had a Rogue. Dude said “can’t ghost against a Rogue”. Rogue showing at another base and stables locked, dude just sat there waiting to recap. Wild stuff at any mmr unfortunately.

I think some people got their wins by doing some “offmeta” strat that happened to work once and now they just try to force it. Ive had bgb matches where some suggested we rushed farm lmao. Or we rush fr in eots. And when their cheese doesnt work they dont know how to play the “normal” way

What’s just as bad, you win, you get 10 points. You lose, you lose 10 points. You just sit there forever…

This is truly one of the most frustrating experiences. It feels disheartening that no matter how well you perform—whether you’re top damage or play every objective perfectly—if your team isn’t on the same page, it can still result in a loss. To make matters worse, losing costs you around 15 rating, while a win only earns you about 9. It’s incredibly demotivating.

Cant really blame you. Mw plus priest can still get there (I think?) before cap but Ive seen that strat just fail so many times… id rather base plus flag everytime
actually, going FR literally never worked for me unless it was an utter and complete stomp when the enemy team was made up of all the people who make 0 impact but win anyways
I do however remember everyone saying “lets all go fr” and going mid being considered throwing in the first couple weeks, at least in the brackets i was in
I actually only learned the strat was mid > other things first relatively late
I wasnt straightforward in how I conveyed this but basically I’m saying that people (me included) didn’t know anything but were overconfident in what they think they knew and then just pushed for it every time :^)
I couldn’t agree more with this.
I’ve never been clear on the way the MMR system works, and I know at this point its become a joke amongst the community, but I sometimes wonder if its for the same reasons. It appears to me, the never ending loop of win/loss regardless of (40 - 60%) range ultimately seems to narrow your MMR more and more, and thus continually puts you into a position, that unless you can will 6+ games in a row, it will be effected, and shift to a higher number so you can play in a “bracket” above your rating to advance - should you keep winning. The system is a rut that ultimately will pigeon-hole you regardless of how well you play because your teammates will be the ultimate factor of your advance.
I think its win traders, 1800 ratings transmoggies are a hot seller on the 3rd party websites.
Think about it, they barrier to entry for wow, buy the game, learn to play the game, the learning curve just to get into pvp… NAAA, not buying it, its Premades, and win traders throwing.
