Its easier than arena yeah. I yolod to 1900 but you may have a harder time getting into groups without some kind of pvp achieve
I havn’t seen the rbg scene this poppin since cata, so I’m sure u could grind it out if u put the effort in

I’ve been in many many 1800ish RBG groups where almost every person has sub50% winrate sub 1400 rating in 2v2 and 3v3.
RBGs are the free-est rating in the game by a mile.

Idk man, I tried a yolo and my enhance shaman buddy was top heals… We had 3 actual healers… Nerf enhance?
Won like 10 in a row last night. I hit 1700, was fighting and WINNING against 2200 teams.
I’m pretty sure that guild from emerald dream disbanded after being 5 capped by a 1650 yolo team. 
ive seen MUUUULTIPLE people with 2100 cr with a negative win rate and highest arena achiev being 1550. RBG is completely free rating and thats also why everyone is so geared
1800 rbgs is literally free just costs your time to que
I think that there is a horde lean in the success stories. Horde just seems more dedicated to winning I suppose. I’ll let you know once I get a few games in.
I saw screenshots earlier in the season of people with like 3600 MMR in RBGs. Seems really hard to not lose rating, they can just be time consuming, in the BG and out. You win, people leave, you lose people leave, then you sit in LFG waiting to fill up again.
Unless, of course, you make the mistake of not leaving the group and losing multiple times in a row. That’s a personal problem, but it’s still annoying…

im 12 wins 6 losses at 1555 atm and gaining 11 rating per win.
Gonna be a long road to 1800

i was 180-190ilvl for majority of those 2’s games as an Afflock versing mas amounts of geared WW / Arms / Ret / Hpal teams…
cmon gimme some credit, had to wade through carry matches too and those dont stop until 1800+
If you get on a winning spree, you will get over 20 points a win at 1700+
I yolo double dps with friends and guildees to 1600 so I’m not going to give you any credit. You are stuck because you refuse to self improve. If other people can 1v2 their way to 1800 in carries then you and I should be able to as well. If not then look at it as you are the reason for every loss and you could have done something better to 1v2 that match.
Ive never been a fan of this argument.

I’m sure this is true but I wanted to add an experience I had last night.
After a huge win streak, we went against a 2200 team, we were VASTLY undergeared because we were all in the 1600s. The enemy team had a ret pal that had to be at least 220 ILVL and he was hitting 14k divine storms and destroying our back line.
He would bubble, charge in, and take out 2 healers almost solo. It was insane.
For the most part you can deal with stuff like this but it definitely gives a big advantage to the ones that have it.

Also if im winning a 1v2 then the opponents should be following your advice too to not be 1v2’d.
Its overall flawed logic. I am getting better. You keep your head buried in the sand some more though on ehat 1300+ in 2’s actually looks like atm for a 180ilvl lock… i pugged to 1600 and im proud considering how infested with geared melee and fire mages it is
Yea rbgs pretty much free rating and a joke tbh
