18 gilded crest a week from Delves. Big pass

Sure…if you have a group ready to go. Delves you just log on.

Adventurer = Heroic Dungeon
Veteran = Mythic (0) Dungeon
Champ = Normal Raid
Hero = Heroic Raid
Myth = Mythic Raid

Not sure what you’re on about there only being “normal and heroic”.

Champ and Hero Tracks represent distinct difficulties, but are not distinct in gear, which causes discontent from people who use Hero Track as their endgame gear progression, which mostly ends up being discontent toward Delves being equally rewarding.

You do not get the means to fully upgrade Hero Track gear to create a distinction until the point at which you’d be better off spending the currency on Myth Track (equivalent) crafted gear. So essentially there is NEVER a distinction. Other than upgrading a trinket or something that’s going to last you awhile.

I did delves for around two months, still do them occasionally and I think this is adequate. A small amount of crests will incentivize me to do 11’s on my characters who have fully “outgrown” delve content.

Guilded crests probably shouldn’t have a cap I’ll give you that, but limiting the amount you can obtain from certain content… especially when you can solo it, only makes sense.

There will be a Brann tank spec next season, so you don’t know what is free or not for next season.

They should cap it at 30 per week but this isn’t bad.

Great point I didn’t think of that!

I never cared to get gilded crests anyway, from any source. So :woman_shrugging:

I agree that only allowing 18 gilded crests per week from delves is not a good idea.

And I am a mainly mythic plus player who caps out on all 90 gilded crests on Tuesday each week, so this doesn’t affect me at all.

But I think for delves to be meaningful endgame content, they need allow people to fully cap all 90 gilded crests per week same as raid and mythic plus.

Giving people more options is always the best choice.

I would hardly call tier 11 delves “free,” especially since you only get the gilded crests from completing it with lives remaining.

Let’s take a look at some statistics, shall we?

According to wowhead, only 14% of profiles have completed AT LEAST ONE tier 11 delve with lives remaining. That number would be much smaller if it measured the amount of people who regularly complete tier 11 delves with lives remaining.

If you want more do other content as well. Problem solved.

a day without a complaint post containing “a slap in the face” is like a day without air

I may be the only one but I think it’s beyond Blizzard to implement an entirely new pillar in a single patch without iterating on it. Delves are a work in progress still.

Kind of like how raiding has been a WIP for 20 years and M+ for a decade now. Delves will see adjustments as time goes on and feedback will hopefully influence those adjustments.

Fwiw I already take the “If I want more I’ll do the content that gives me more” approach but that doesn’t mean I’m going to try to stand in the way of delves being improved.

I was done with delves permanently the second they nerfed “bugged” brann.

Facetanking mobs as a mage isn’t fun. Facetanking bullet sponge mobs as a mage is an experience I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

You’re not the only one, I think that too. :slightly_smiling_face:

I care and I know plenty of other people care. One of the biggest problems I have with M+ this season is that you can’t use item level to figure out at a glance if someone is raiding or doing keys because Delves hand out Hero track pieces like candy.

That’s not to say Delves shouldn’t give out Hero track gear, it’s to say that there are some issues with Delves giving out Hero track gear that alot of folk want to ignore and then those same people want to beg Blizzard for Delves to drop Myth track gear.

But there already is a solo track, it’s called the “World” track when you look at the Great Vault, it’s the bottom track. First reward is from “Complete 2 Delves or World Activities.”

That being said, there’s absolutely no reason for Delves to toss out Myth track gear like candy since anyone who plays solo in WoW and I mean actually solo, not solo in the sense that they don’t have people to do stuff with, aren’t going to need Myth track gear to do any of the content they’re doing, that’s just the simple reality.

i certainly wont turn my nose to a free upgrade every week just from delves

I read this and thought “that’s awful nice of them to throw delves a bone”. I honestly don’t care about the ilvl, I can do the content regardless. I’m excited I can actually have the opportunity to get the mythic xmog during this xpac instead of having to wait 6 years or whatever.

Fixed it for you
