You people would complain if Blizz came our and said they’d give you 100 bucks
One of the requirements that blizzard puts on the box is “High speed internet connection”. The system requirements on the support page states “Broadband internet connection”. You can try to play on a connection barely better than dial up from the mid 90’s early 00’s, but that’s on you, not Blizzard. Dial up just isn’t supported.
They can’t program the game with the absolutely lowest common denominator in mind, even though it seems like they try to do just that.
Ya that’s a good chunk, where do you read the upcoming patch notes?
Shows WoW is like 90 gig on my drive…
16 gig patch is what you get when they release an unfinished xpack to meet quarterly sales goals
Mine says 11.86 GB
I’d like to know how you are managing to even post on these forums with a connection that archaic and slow.
I think the best way to look at it is…
Control panel > Programs then see what the file is if you were to remove it.
(But don’t remove it lol.)
Don’t know how that would be possible.
I just wouldn’t be surprised with all the cost cutting in this expansion that they might also have skimped on optimization as well.
This is what is coming.
Wut. Where do you live that bandwidth is so limited that a 16 gig dl would use it all. Even terrible companies like Comcast give at least a TB.
I thought it was odd myself but blew it off as I think I have become used to it after getting the free Destiny 2 for my son to play. That game has had several huge patches/updates since Blizzcon!
Yeah, my Data dir is a little heavy. 90GB Blizz Total (60.8G in Data and 25.3 in Starcraft II). Mind you my installation is on a 2 TB dedicated game drive and my Net cap is 500G a month so no issues here I guess…Patch 8.1 should be interesting.
