WoW Hotfixes - Updated October 25

Can blizzard do a hotfix on those Sealed Scroll in forbidden reach? Their drop rates is horrible even after using the Azure Scrying Crystal.

Hello everyone. Here are today’s hotfixes:

JULY 28, 2023

Achievements

  • Embers of Neltharion should now properly display all required criteria.

Classes

  • Hunter
    • Beast Mastery and Survival
      • Fixed an issue where Ebon Might from an Augmentation Evoker did not properly increase the damage of Kill Command.

Dungeons and Raids

  • Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible
    • Improved the visibility on Whisper in the Dark’s Umbral Torrent to better match its area of effect.
    • Echo of Neltharion
      • The Normal and Heroic difficulty encounter should no longer respawn if players have previously cleared the encounter and skip defeating Magmorax.
  • Dawn of the Infinite
    • Fixed an issue that could cause some enemies’ damage and heal absorb effects to be much weaker than intended.
      • Developers’ note: An issue was recently introduced that caused certain absorb effects in Dawn of the Infinite to be weaker than expected. This change restores these values to roughly what they were just before the patch. We don’t anticipate any significant issues with dungeon difficulty as a result, but we’ll keep a close eye on it.

That’s cute. Hardly going to bridge the gap between Fire/Shadow though. Good thing I bring group utility to make up for the damage discrepancy /s

In addition to doing a rework to the druid class tree (we have asked for it like more than 100 times and they give us minor changes for the worse)

Here’s the latest update:

July 31, 2023

Events

  • Time Rifts
    • The Ragged Mantid Sword now has a chance to drop from any Klaxxi during a Time Rift event, rather than specifically blade wielding Klaxxi.

Items and Rewards

  • Fixed an issue preventing collectibles from being dropped by the Temporal Investi-gator.

Player versus Player [With Weekly Maintenance]

  • Death Knight
    • Frost
      • Fixed an issue that caused Pillar of Frost’s stacking Strength to not be properly reduced in PvP combat.
      • Frost Strike damage is now increased by 67% in PvP combat (was 45%).
      • Obliterate damage is now increased by 20% in PvP combat (was 15%).
      • Obliterate damage is now increased by 75% when Killing Machine is not active in PvP combat (was 60%).
    • Unholy
      • Developers’ notes: We have been monitoring our changes to Unholy this season and feel the damage they bring is slightly higher than our intent. The primary adjustment here is through Festermight which can cause high variance in burst at high stacks. This is consistent with our original goal of reducing burst and focusing the spec on sustained DPS in PvP.
      • Festermight is now 50% effective in PvP combat.
      • Festering Wound damage is now increased by 230% in PvP combat (was 250%).
    • Druid
      • Fixed a bug that made it possible to parry, block, or dodged Incapacitating Roar.
      • Restoration
        • Fixed an issue that caused Reactive Resin to not Silence targets when multiple heal over time effects were purged at once.
    • Monk
      • Windwalker
        • Rising Sun Kick damage reduced by 9% in PvP combat.
    • Warrior
      • Fury
        • Rampage deals 30% increased damage in PvP combat (was 15%).

Wrath of the Lich King Classic

  • Fixed a bug allowing Divine Shield, Divine Protection, Hand of Protection, or Lay on Hands to be cast while Avenging Wrath was still active.

Where TF are rogue buffs. How does my 435 ilvl arms warrior do more damage than my 443 rogue (that i know how to play much better)? Why so incompetent?

Well didnt take you as a company long to put Trader Post items in the cash shop after you said you wouldn’t do it. Did it already with some items and did it again. My god, Blizzard USED to the be the standard that every company should model after. Really can’t get out of your own way and of greed can you?

They said they would as part of bundles, but no plans to sell them as stand alone.

Speaking with GameSpot, Hazzikostas cleared up some of the confusion surrounding the datamine. He said definitively that there are no plans to sell Trader’s Tender as a standalone product. However, the team does think it makes sense to offer various amounts of Trader’s Tender as parts of various bundles, such as expansion deluxe editions.

Personally I’m really disappointed. Part of a larger bundle, like an expansion, is one thing. A constant (which I suspect) barrage of little transactions tho, not so much.

they are literally selling them standalone, the 2 wrist accessories are “bonus”. $5 for 200, $50 for 2k or $45 if you apply discounts.

and people said I was crazy to think the trading post was a battle pass. there we go. We pay $20 for the sub + $60-$70 for expansions and now we also have to pay for battle pass coins because, brace yourselves, Blizzard has already started making difficult tasks or reducing the amount of battle pass coins you obtain from common tasks.

all this to support Bobby’s lawyers so he doesn’t get sent to jail because he respects women /s

“We’ll never trader’s tokens for $4.99. That being said, we created this $5 bundle that has 200 tendies and two corsages lol haha lmao xd”

But let’s be honest. This $5 for 200 tenders is just a price anchor so blizzard can say “Why cancel your $15 a month sub when you get $25 a month worth of tendies just to keep your sub active lol please dont quit wow we’re trying to make it better we promise

Did we get shadowlands timewalking today?

Castle nathria is up in lfr finder.

I find the entire thing funny. All these people clamoring for some regurgitated relics from years ago. Instead of actually developing new content ,I guess when you are starving anything is better than nothing right?

When can we expect a catch-up for Trophies of Strife from the Sparks of Life weekly WPvP quest? With Conquest being uncapped and with this recent Splintered Sparks of Shadowflame catch-up buff, Trophies of Strife are still the only thing that is capped out at obtaining 8 per week.

Could we maybe see turning the Sparks of Life quest into a repeatable quest until one catches up? I feel like it would be very beneficial to WPvP if a catch up like this was introduced! Thanks

I know yall don’t really care about pvp, but can you do something about MM hunters taking 75% of your HP away with aimed shot? I sit around 800k health and it’s ridiculous.

my suggestion for Aimed Shot is it actually require Aiming to justify its damage. it should be a skill shot with a very small telegraph outlining the path.

Not that I disagree, but I would prefer that they just give MM hunters single target damage literally anywhere else :woman_shrugging:

The death chakrams are cute, maybe buff those. Maybe arcane shot doesn’t have to be so weak without multiple talent points buffing it!

Unrelated but MM should not be capped at any amount of targets, this is making it very unenjoyable in mythic+, it should have the same target scaling that specs like fire mage get access to.
