15th Anniversary alabaster mounts? What?

So Blizzard couldn’t come up with something unique, or different? These looks like the standard mounts but without texture or color. It looks like someone really got lazy here. I mean c’mon Blizz, seriously? You want us to pay money for this? Ummmm…no. just no.

They have texture and effects. You also don’t have to buy them if you don’t like them. Others do like them.

I’d also like to refer you to the Deathwing mount you’ll be able to get. Unique. In game. For free.

People complain that unique skins for mounts are in the store and not in game to earn. So they swap it and put the unique skin in the game to earn free… people complain.

There’s really no winning here. Someone is apparently going to be upset.

They are made to look like the statues and a throwback to the first fliers we had available in BC.

I wonder do all the people who bought the collector’s edition that includes these get to use theirs or do they have to wait.

They are different. If you look at the details they aren’t simple recolors, they’re carved from stone. That’s the theme of it, it’s not untextured at all. There’s even a spark event on the wings.

And these are only the Collector’s Edition box mounts. The main anniversary event is still to come in game where you get a free Deathwing mount through a raid.

I have one. They are actually very well done. They look like carved stone with all the proper shading details for it. Wings look like folded origami when on the ground still. When flying they look fleshed out and trail gold sparks - as though they were magically animated. Eyes glow golden too.

I like it quite a lot. Those who don’t, could skip buying it. Kind of like I skip those odd flavored Oreos that keep going on sale.

Each to their own I suppose.

Do they look like classic flight master mounts from 15 years ago?
Do they remind you of a vanilla color?

I saw one (the gryphon) in game last night, Looks far better in game than in pictures. The eyes were a nice touch. It looked majestic.

I absolutely freekin love mine. Best looking storemount in a long time. Like flying a gargoyle or marble statue. Pictures and video do no justice.

These look like good mounts for the store actually… put the sweet ones to be earned in game and some cool recolors or whatever (these aren’t just recolors obviously) into the store. They are nice mounts if you think they are worth it then get it, if not you probably have versions of them anyways.

And we have to pay real money for them. So lame.

10th anniversary mounts were free. We did have to run Molten Core. But at least they were free. I don’t know why we couldn’t another old raid or something.

Blizzard. That’s just lame.

They reflect the people that buy them. Skill less and unintuitive

You get a free dragon and wolf (ram if you’re Alliance.) This mount is for people that didn’t want to shell out $100.

Marshmallow Oreos are amazing.

need a eye exam?

Good thing they aren’t the anniversary mounts. Good gosh people…

Question for those who have one…do they stand still like a statue when not flying or running or do they bounce like other mounts? Just curious. I think standing perfectly still would actually be a cool effect for a statue mount.

They don’t stand still like a statue they do the other gryphon movements when not moving.
