~155k people watching an unofficial duel tournament

The only one triggered here seems to be you. I didn’t mention streamers or streaming once in my post as any kind of qualifier so I don’t know why you brought that up. I haven’t indicated any kind of upset, in fact i specifically started my posts to you trying to be diplomatic indicating we disagree but that was fine and there was no need for an argument. You are the one who keeps going with this and some sort of an obsession to get me to say you are right on the internet here. You using words like snowflake, disgusting, and hypocrisy to describe me makes it clear who is triggered here.

But it’s fine, you are right, the sky is falling, classic will be the worst because of this one thing, everything is terrible, and you win all the points on the internet.

Well, you’re wrong about this. It’s a Beta. No one has a right to Beta. Beta is a privilege. And those clowns abused their privilege and were removed. Absolutely justified removal. Good on Blizzard for doing it (if even it was done by Blizz, and not them just getting bored and leaving).

You’d have a stronger case if this was post-launch Classic. But even then there’s clauses about harassment in the ToS that could make a legitimate case that they were harassing other players. I would probably say a GM shouldn’t step in in the Live game, but I can see people making a case for it.

You don’t have a “right” to retail either… that doesn’t mean it’s at all a good thing that blizzard is putting their fingers on the scale when they shouldn’t be.

This mentality is on the list of things that killed the MMORPG genre. You have to deal with people like this in the game and in real life. Only difference being you can destroy and kill them in game, legally.
Just rolling over and crying about it reflects on who you are outside of the game as well.

Edit: Git gud

i can understand why they would though. the job of the streamers is to promote the game on twitch. kinda hard to do when an event is scheduled and you can’t tell what’s happening. so though you may be technically stating a strictly legal situation under normal circumstances, the beta streamers and their events is totally different scenario. it would be blizzard’s best interest, as well as the organizers/streamers/participants, to keep the thing clear of mischief.

Of course you do. You’re a paying customer. These are random testers that Blizz invited to test their game. You’re not entitled to an invite, and you’re not entitled to maintain that invitation if you abuse your privilege.

Abom, my brother is here right now and as much as apparently you two disagree, he just said and I quote…

“Dear god, he’s said something I 100% agree with; this is how we know Modern WoW is dead”.

I also agree with you fully.

which only means when classic launches the streamers views will be way down again.

No, someone else was really pissed sending tells to Tips (who ran the event) asking for a rematch. I don’t remember the name though.

Lol, regardless of my thoughts and feelings on this matter, that sounds hilarious.

Friendly reminder that anyone promoting or wishing bans on players messing with a duelling tournament (which were almost never successful in Vanilla on large PvP servers and just led to chaos/drama and greater faction rivalry) are the same type of people responsible for bringing WoW to where it is today.

LUL Beta Streamers. Unlike Soda and Asmon whom are clearly Alpha.

Friendly Reminder: The people doing what those Tauren did are also part of the reason WoW is what is today. You fail to acknowledge that fact.

Agree to disagree.

If the hunter was equally skilled he would have taken a giant poop on the mage

A good mage can always reset fights. That is why Venruki won.

Reset all you want equally skilled hunter waxes a mage

It was ok, would have been better if they didn’t have all those aids rules… bit of a BFA mindset trying to balance and harmonise each of the classes.

Yeah, well not in this case. Venruki beat a R1 Gladiator Hunter to advance in the bracket, or am I mistaken on that? Brucewayne
