1500+ difficulty

Why players at 1500 are 215-230 gear, why they are using perfectly all their class-kits, their positioning are just impecable.
Why resto shamans on 1500 are doing grounding in a perfect timing.
Why resto druids on 1500 are building combos, main, sprinting behind pillar and cycloning only in perfect timing.
Why warriors at 1500 are heroic leaping behind pillars in 0.5 miliseconds right after my burst being popped.
Why shadowpriests are mass dispelling traps right after 1 second duration.

Why this is happening at 1500? why players are playing close to 100% of their kit in 1500?

What we got at 2k+? what kind of artificial inteligence?

I get 2k multiple times, from my perspective the current 1500 is like 2200 difficulty level from the past expansions.

If they were doing everything perfectly, they wouldn’t be 1500. To me, every game at 1500 feels pretty dang easy tbh.

Some of them are.
Yesterday i did harpoon + slow trap on shaman… i burned his grounding totem into a slow trap and then throw the freezing trap… but right after the freezing trap landed the shadowpriest dispelled 1 second later.

This is definitely NOT 1500 and things likes this are happening constantly… its not few games… most of them are like this.

People are trying hard cause there’s something to actually work for. 226 gear at 1800 is pretty appealing to both pve and pvpers

Everyone makes plenty of mistakes even at higher rating. The basics are far more well known nowadays due to the prevalence of streaming, but it’s highly unlikely any of those players are playing as good as you think they are otherwise they wouldn’t be that low

Even if they’re doing one thing that’s good, they’re probably tunnel visioning on doing that one sick thing when there are so many more important globals/things to consistently do in a match.

survival hunter is kinda hard cause not many people are doing it anyway, try playing marksman hunter and theres no way 215-230 ppl are at 1500. playing marksman hunter is also better cause a lot of streamers and yters are playing it so watching them can help u improve more from learning from them

I normally sit around 1700-1900 depending on seasonal and class. I know I’m not good and don’t claim to be. That being said, I have like 60-70 games in 3s and think the most important thing is finding a comsistant group. To me, 1500 doesn’t feel much different from past xpacs, tho gatekeeping by players with 210+iL is there and kidna sucks constantly finding people over 36k hp when me and my other dps have 30k. Think that in a few weeks when we catch up with pvp gear, it will be less difficult to pass over that hump.

This has been my struggle. I have a great healer that sticks with me…but man, finding a good 3rd player that wants to join vc, knowledgeable about their class and stick around long term has been tough for me. Plenty of WWs and Arms we grouped up with that just ended up being super…bad.

In my case, I feel like I have an incredible game one match and then the following game is a sh#$ game were I forget to use my defensive CD’s or whatever.

I’ve been helping people get their 1400 and 1600 achievements.

At 1500 im facing Warr/ret/healer which both of them has 36k HP and their healer positioning are just impecable. (not few games, MOST of them)
Im not understanding this game anymore…

Yup got to find a consistent group. And yes the fact is more people are “try harding” it because the rewards are so good. So the casuals/truly bad people sink to the bottom quick or just get 1400. They also might just give up and stop playing way quicker so you get even more of an elite crowd who knows all the basics. It then comes down to comp and communication… It is really hard finding people willing to go on voice comm consistently and coordinate and that is where the true rating increases come from imo.

I know it will sound like a “git gud” situation but im playing with consistent team, we are coordinating actions… it happens that every enemy team plays like 2k+ team.
My teamates are not 2k level… we just need to play from 1400 right into 1800-2000k level teams. The room for improvement are absurdly narrow.

Im just asking every single match “WHY THERES A !#%!% WARRIOR AND RET WITH 36K IN 1530 RATING… WHYYYY AGAIN???”

bro i see alot of people that have 2k xp in their descs but they are stilkl at 1500-1700… 2k xp isnt rlly gonna matter a whole lot cause the style is also pretty diff… most ppl who got 2k in bfa season 4 probs just have a good spec and dont have to learn how to cc much cause u can just faceroll at that rating and get pretty easy wins by just doing dmg

Yeah I get you. Sometimes you just hit that wall. May have to try different comps as well. Honestly I lucked into 1600 by getting a rogue with like 2400 rbg rating and already having 233 weapon lol. So PLing is also an option, just overpower the enemy with ilvl lol. And yes… being an op class myself does not hurt. In the insta blow you up meta a class that can stop all that dmg in its tracks is almost a no brainer. My honest opinion? This arena is currently super broken in many ways, lucky crits insta kill people, people die in globals, double firemage/boomkin is a thing when it shouldn’t be… word of glory is no mana and can full heal someone in any spec? lol… Just so much busted stuff. Maybe wait to see if people calm down a bit and just stock up on the basic 200 ilvl gear for now in the 1400s… that is usually pretty doable.

Record your gameplay and upload it on youtube/twitch and I’ll help you, I’m confident there’s a far bigger window of improvement than you realize

This is true, but if you look up the armories of some of the people you see there are definitely former glads/duelists/arena masters in the high 1500s right now. It’s kinda funny going from seeing what you would consider 1500 players one game and really well coordinated teams the next. I looked up a shaman I played the other day, he had 2700 achieves and a 53% win ratio and I played him at 1600 mmr.

I haven’t started arena yet but where would a 184 ilvl player fit? 1200? Lol

I will do.
I also know theres a “big window of improvement”.
My point is, i must reach perfection to get 1600?

I start the match, put my dots on the main target, start burst and stun healer on focus in a perfect timing enough to make him goes into desperate mode and trinketd the first stun… right after i harpoon in focus and then tar trap to bait his grounding totem and then landing a beautifull full freezing trap.

And its not enough… idk what else is required to get out of 1500-1600.

Plus info: i keep attacking the main target with aspect of eagle on enemy healers side in order to also interrupt him after the CC chain combo… its still not enough
