When you’re actively tanking as a prot paladin, there are times when you will spend holy power on WoG

Ideally you are just using your procs and not actually spending holy power. Holy power goes to shield of the righteous.

Your WoG profile doesn’t really change that much when offtanking, you want sacred weapon CDR.

The same thing goes for Blood DK that will use Death Coil instead of Death Strike when you aren’t taking damage

Ummm…you never do this. Death strike is more damage than death coil and also you can build a gigantic blood shield while offtanking. Also for San’layn death strike procs your vamp strike.

I think you just don’t understand how tanks work, and that’s okay, but you are coming from a foundation that is false to begin with.

• this is with an incredibly overtuned prot pally who doesn’t need a healer regardless because of their crazy self heals (DPS would still require one in regular gameplay mind you).
• ret pally also has more free heals.

Thats the whole point that has been debated season after season, tanks with powerful heals and hybrid dps classes are just not in the same level playing field as other specs.

Yeh well it feels like every season every expansion it’s the same classes that are always on top. When was the last time we seen a feral Druid shine for example .

What keys have you timed without a healer. Obvs of they can do a 15 without a healer and this is a super serious issue then you at least have a 10 timed without a healer. Right?

Ironically yes, we tried a 10 Wake and timed it without a healer. We blasted through the dungeon. Which should not be happening

The real travesty here is a ret paladin can roll their face across the keyboard and do top damage and also be a substitute for a healer. Dunno how ret gang doesn’t get more flame.
