I didn’t receive a letter on my main to go and do extra bosses for Anniversary activities. So I sent in a ticket. I had been waiting for anniversary party for 2 weeks - I was all happy for something fun to do and a present. GM told me - you completed this last year so no new activities. I was disappointed, then very disappointed. First, present is the same as last year - token for rep/exp increase. ok. not fun but ok. Then, the second part wasn’t even new? just a carry over? I know Blizz is moving on from wow, but doesn’t anyone over there care anymore? Not even a little moth pet with wow circles on its wings? something? perhaps this time, rumors of wow’s demise are true.

Nothing new because there’s nothing new to celebrate.
Last year was Classic hype, but if that wasn’t happening, it would’ve been nothing special. Milestone years and big announcements are what matter.

That happened to me too. I was told just to go to the Historical guy and see if he gives me the quest. I haven’t done it yet tho to see if it actually works. I only got the quest on 2 of my 5 120’s and on one 110. Weird. Go check out the historical guy and see if it works. Good luck!
You don’t get the letter again on a character that did it last year. Not sure why they didn’t, I guess they figure you remember where the archivist is, but you can still get the two daily quests from them and there is a pretty cool new toy this year.

The historian gives the quest… it’s not an auto quest.
You also get 200 timewalking tokens in the mail with the exp/rep boost which can be used on the corgi goggles that the historian sells.

Its all because corgis are controlling the whole game. All the messed up stuff that is going on and there is just a corgi in a room in front of a computer controlling it all.
(I hope someone gets that game reference.)
The quest for me popped on the gift box that came on my mail from Blizz. As soon as I opened it the auto quest to go to Org popped up.
Right, but that “auto-quest” part that you did is a one time only. So any toons you have that did it last year, are assumed to remember where the NPC will be in Org this year on their own.
Pretty sure I did it last year too as it was the first time I had gotten the Van Cleef thing.
So Ion is a Corgi… makes sense…
you still can go to the npc in orgrim and pick up the lore and the dragon quest - only the intro quest isn’t available.
Whatever it was, the googles were the appropriate response. This is a great toy.
