Whats the bare minimum build for 1440 for WOW with above 7 settings.
Not sure. I have a Ryzen 3600 and RTX 2060, it plays fine. The GPU isn’t maxed out. Before I had a GTX 960 and it would be at 100% most of the time.
Currently use a 2700x and a x470 taichi, with 32 GB of RAM 3200 rated, with a Vega Frontier (gtx 1080/rtx 2070 equivalent). Playing at 1440p and 4k
Either resolution I have no problems at 7 settings, especially at 1440p.
So like dukaman said, his setup would be the best ideal choice.
Grab yourself a b450 board, 3600, 16 GB of RAM at 3200, and a rtx 2060/Rx 5700 XT and you should be golden

I have an i5 8600k, 16 GB RAM and a GTX 1070.
I run WoW at ultra with 8x MSAA and it runs as well as my wife’s Ryzen 7 3700x with a 2070 super.
Both at 1440p on gsync monitors.

I’m BACK - kind of. sort of.
OP - I can’t speak for bare minimum - but for me, I am using a 5ghz 8700k and a 5700 XT and i don’t have any problems with 1440p at 10 and am able to get pretty good results.
Running around Zuldazar around 60-130fps at 10.
On 7 setting, around 85-144fps (vsync cap).
Some combat, some viewing scenery.
This is with MSAA 8X on. At 1440p, that much AA isn’t really needed. Dropping down to FXAA high adds about 30-40fps to each minimum metric it seems.
