Yeah it’s disgusting but doubtful they tune again.
worst thing - 6 of the hunters 7 top damaging abilities are passive, free damage
these players are literally bots
Played 17 tonight between 2.2-2.4 mmr, 16 of those games had bm/fury/demo. Fun.

And I mean demo is w/e, but it’s so boring to be cc’d so much against one, whilst they do insane st damage to you lol, bm damage is just completely fried + same with fury. Hold down w and force your entire defensives in a minute.
I get almost all shadow, bm, fury and some locks.
we did some math and we found that it is a net loss to cc the BM
the cast time in the open is not worth the damage they do.

Fury and BM are not at all comparable. One has several hard counters the other has essentially none with pets and a single ranged ability doing the highest ST damage in pvp.
Yeah, every single lobby had a BM, Demo, X (ret, war, dk) tonight for me. Pet AI really building the best come back of 2024

From my POV, they are pretty comparable. Into any caster but frost mage, pretty sure Fury shreds you. Might even be some melee too, but as a caster. The spec needs toning down lol.

It’s not even like the demo teams do insane damage and im perma dead, it’s just the most braindead thing to sit there whilst you get cc’d over and over and over again because demo has way to much cc and way too much time whilst it’s pets rail someone.
Idk, I’d still take demo over bm any day. At least demo casts and isn’t hypermobile.

But it has all the time in the world to spam cc, then pair it with a frost mage and nobodys having fun. AI Pet specs are just wild.
Counters seem to have turned into hard counters too which is unforch.
Nerf all of its passive damage. Black arrow shouldn’t cleave in PvP, and dire beast/its tertiary procs should get nerfed.
The whole dark ranger tree still feels like it’s in beta. It obviously benefits and meshes with bm a lot better than marks. Withering fire is going to prevent marks from ever being good for any amount of time. The bell tolls talent is actually completely unnecessary other than for the fact that you have to take it to get the next talent, as another example. Feels like they had something that worked with the old dark ranger and they just kinda hastily threw it away for this version and a lot of stuff just isn’t very well thought out.

i had a lobby with double bm hunter, surv hunter, and demo lock. Game is a joke atm.
