13th/14th Gen processor error

First and foremost I want to say I CANNOT update my bios…it’s due to a relationship that’s not great and I simply cannot do it (mostly because I have ZERO clue how to do it myself, and the person who does refuses to do it saying I don’t need to) so updating it is out of the question right now as I can’t myself due to knowledge and the person who can will not do it. Hopefully you all understand =(

Is there a way to get rid of the pop up every time I launch the game? I know it’s an issue, but it’s not one I can deal with right now. Or a way I can fix it without messing with the bios?

Only updating the BIOS will get rid of it.

Nope, the fix is updating the BIOS.

There are lots of tutorials online. You can do it without their help.

You really need to update it if you have the 13th or 14th Gen CPU, especially if the motherboard in question isn’t up to date because there is a MASSIVE problem that will downright kill the CPU if it isn’t taken care of. You either get it updated, or your CPU is going to burn itself within a year or so the moment it has been in use. And the problem only gets worse the longer the PC is on and not dealt with as the wear is permanent and degrades overall performance until the CPU just can’t function anymore.

If you don’t know how, ask a tech savvy person, friend, or into a computer shop to handle this. It won’t take more than 5-10 minutes as all it is no different from updating WoW (In terms of time it takes to update, not the process). Though I am making this very clear, you MUST update that BIOS if you want to keep using the CPU long term. If nothing being said here is believable, then look online about it. You have no excuse to ignore this one because it is a big deal. The worst case scenario is, the damage is too much and irreparable and you have to contact Intel (Warranty issue) to get a new CPU while you have the Motherboard updated to the latest BIOS.

Hopefully they can RMA it back to the manufacturer of the pc if it’s damaged.
