Prefacing this by saying I have yet to lose bc of it so this isn’t a salty post
I have been super pve all xpac so far and I just started queuing tonight on my ww during that time a total of around 10 seeds have went off first 2 were same game because my WA was broken and its not muscle memory to check for it
There are some big issues with this dumb ability
NO NAMEPLATE
WAY TO MUCH HP
HEALABLE
ENABLED IN THE FIRST PLACE??
cry about what you want damage is all over the place some like it some don’t but one thing I think we all agree on is that seed needs to either go or not be healable + have a plate
The fact it can be healed is irrelevant. It still dies after it takes 13k damage healed or not. Now the health bar being in outer space is annoying. It also can be bop’d and sac’d by pallys which shouldn’t be possible but is.
The seed should not exist, its way too powerful of an ability in arena. Compared to my spell as disc priest going venthyr which is pretty much mandatory to be competitive, i get a haste buff for like 10 seconds every 5 minutes if i stay in combat. rubbish. They need to let people choose whatever soulbind tree they want and seed needs to be removed.
PSA: It cannot be healed, or rather it doesn’t mean anything if it’s healed. Don’t worry about cc’ing the healer. It will “die” after taking 13k dmg even if it’s been topped off by then.
P.S At least for us druids, we’re only taking it because it has access to a potency and endurance at the moment. Once Niya can also use endurance conduits we will drop it. The pod is inconsequential. No one wants or cares about it lol.
Seeing how you just used your burst to kill that player you could be completely out of energy, focus, runepower, combo-points etc. 13k is a lot when you just depleted everything. But putting that aside that is 13k extra hp tallent! Show me another soulbind tree tallent that will grant you extra 13k max hp.
Also hots seem to continue ticking on a player in the seed, as I have seen recently 0hp player pop out of there with full hp
I’m sorry but if I can kill the seed as an aff lock with no cooldowns having to spend half the time just applying my dots I really don’t see how other people struggle to kill it (assuming it’s not glitched) and not to mention a “13k extra hp talent” that makes you not be able to do anything for ten seconds doesn’t sound all that great when you take into consideration things like Word of Glory or death pact just to name a couple, healing that much or more and being usable more than once.
Real talk as a frost mage if your teammate is CC’d and you just used burst to kill a player (i.e. orb/comet storm/ice nova) it is actually hard to kill it. Without FoF ice lance hits for like 800 and frostbolt not really that much more.
