when you take our 120 to 50 we just lost a lott of time and if you have lotts like my self . its a lott of time . im not buying shadows and why should people suffer . because they think 10 lvls are hard i make a 120 2 days = stop crying , suck it up butter cup . if you take our 120 we should be compsated for every 120 . time cost money
Really isn’t that big of a deal, The potential fixes are worth the number squish. 120-130 is basically nothing at this point, especially if we don’t actually get anything for it.
It’s another non-fix to a non-issue driven by the loud minority on the forums.
Not once, ever, have I heard anyone talk about this in game.
what squish every carter we have is nerfed
That’s fine, I hate Carter, he’s a jerk.
You didn’t lose anything. This is another example of someone raging about something they’re uninformed about. It was made explicitly clear that we’re not losing anything in the process. It is simply to scale and compress things to make the leveling experience more rewarding, and cohesive, both for new players and current players.
The only thing it could possibly achieve is bring down the leveling scare factor for new players by using a smaller number. The fact is big numbers scare people.
It’s not a nerf, it’s a rebalancing. The idea on the stat squish is to be able to rework systems to allow things to be smoothed out better.
It’s not a nerf. it’s literally the exact same thing. going through 120+ levels on a new character is a ridiculous chore now anyways.
This is Lisanna. Lisanna has over 400 days of /played time. Lisanna has been told she will be level 50 in the next expansion. Lisanna approves of this decision and will keep playing. Lisanna paid for time having fun in the game not for her levels. Lisanna will see you next expansion.
You are not losing anything… It’s just a rescaling of the numbers… People really will complain about anything and everything.
d2 hardcore = 100 lvls if you die you die lol. i can see you would die a lott i won 7 times to the top
whether it takes twice the time now to get to 50, than half the time it took to get to 120, how does that change how long it takes? or how long it took you previously?
If you cut your 16" pizza into 12 slices last Friday, but decide to cut it into 6 slices this Friday, does it mean you have less pizza this time?
Blizzard has already made it clear that it will take less time to level to maximum after the squish…and, that our abilities will not suffer any reduction in power either.
Did you not enjoy the game while you leveled? Did you not have any fun at all? If you did, then you got exactly what you paid for. If it wasn’t fun, then you should probably ask yourself why you are paying to play a game that doesn’t entertain you.
I hope they reset us to 50 every expansion moving forward so that 50-60 just becomes “new expansion” and the level stops inflating.
If they have to keep squishing numbers down obviously they aren’t happy with the long term.
lol 50 i hope its 150 a lvl
Sounds like a bad band-aid for the real problem.
Honestly, what they should’ve done, granted hard to foresee far in advance at times, is had the level cap stopped at level 60 and had all mobs scale as you leveled. This would’ve set the stage in what we could expect from the games future design. Sometimes things like this end up alienating a lot of the players , but had this been done from the start, it wouldn’t be an issue at all.
This is hilarious. What a poor troll. You couldn’t even bother to switch toons.
Numbers are just figments of our imaginations. They exist but the meaning we assign to them is not always in line with reality. They could make the levels go up to 130 and keep all the buffs they are bringing to shadowlands which would effectively be the exact same thing as being 60 levels. There is no need to be stressed about it. 60 is just a nicer and rounder number. In effect the numbers are meaningless and basically the same.
Buying or not, it will happen with patch 9.0. and that is just that. Its a said and done case. It doesn’t matter if you have SL or not, you will wake up on patch day and all your toons will be correctly squashed to the new levels.
