ERA was effectively “FRESH” just 3 months ago, I know this beyond a shadow of a doubt because I have been playing ERA since it was a thing in 2021.
The problem is not that we need “FRESH”, the problem is that Blizzard does not ban bots or buyers fast enough.
You can have as many fresh servers as fast as you want them, and they will all go to pot unless Bots and buyers banned perma.
like weekly bans are what is needed to keep wow functional.

Screw the seasons. I want another proper 2 year vanilla cycle. This isn’t Diablo.
The Fresh servers. The players will invariably go back to the established servers. Just look at where the Fresh WotLK servers are now.
Speaking of, I remember when Fresh WotLK servers launched. Within two weeks there were dozens of players on the forum arguing unironically that it was too late for them to start and they needed more Fresh servers.
I think that was the exact moment I realised Fresh is a pipe dream. People just trying to chase the same high, and deluding themselves into thinking it’ll be different this time.
I re-rolled on Era today. It’s popping.

I have posted a multitude of reasons in the past why players want fresh.
A server lasting forever has zero to do with it
You saw how the last 1 year cycle worked out. Don’t need to make the game even more trivial by cutting the server life in half. No thanks.
You’re still a seasonal/fresher. Pservers are more your speed if want your toons regularly deleted. Keep that self-defeating model in the trashbin.
Toons don’t get deleted though. They would just go into era. You know this.

Incorrect. The seasonal toons are all inherently fated for deletion. Players must choose to transfer them. That’s another reason to dump the seasonal gimmicks.
I don’t like pservers. I would never play something where my characters aren’t guaranteed from being deleted. Fresh 2 year cycle servers along side era servers are the way to go. People are just too good at the game for others to not want a clean start every couple years.
That’s seasonal garbage and a proven failure. SoM & the Skyfury/Angerforge nonsense proved it.
Knowing has nothing to do with the resistance encountered when requesting fresh. The only requirement for posting here is incorrigibility.
I feel like the real reason is that there are some who still think that as this game approaches legal drinking age, there’s some kind of “I’m more special than you” status attached to being The Server First Blahblahblah.

What did you expect. I started on the fresh Wrath server and found out about alll the changes they had planned/were making and quit.
For a lot of players, fresh start is the most fun. I’m not seeking to do things differently aside from meeting new people.
