Metzen cooked. As we all know, 11.2 is the first patch that Metzen has actually written since his return. His name was on the saga but we’ve known we were locked into the other two patches. This one actually looks sick though.

Tazaveesh is back as a Mega-Dungeon! Granted I think it’s kind of like… low-effort that they didn’t do a new mega-dungeon, but Tazaveesh owned super hard so I’m happy its back.
There’s some sort of space ninja solo boss Mage Tower thingy?
I dunno I think Warcraft is coming back, especially if the story Metzen penned is actually suitably epic to go along with the feature set.

I have high hopes for this trilogy. So far TWW hasn’t really wow’d me. I really hope this next season brings the story hard.
We need a reason to get invested in the trilogy as a whole.
I honestly want a ffxiv endwalker for wow. Not the same game/story, but the same heights if that makes sense.

This is not my vibes at all - end of shadowlands mixed with netherstorm. Just bleh.

Yea idk what it is about TWW story but its kinda just meh.
Like undermine, i get why we go there and it makes alot of sense. Its just… idk kinda not exciting?

That’s exactly my preferred vibes for Retail. I want my Classic stuff to be grounded and maybe a little safe and boring but Retail is supposed to be epic. Stuff like DF and the first two patches of TWW are downbad but TBC mixed with Shadowlands is just what the doctor ordered (thematically my three favorite Retail expansions - so excluding SoD - are TBC, Legion, and Shadowlands).

I…I have a bit of hope for this one.
It looks like a lot of fun, and I’d like to see some folks from the Shadowlands again. A little worried for Arbiter Pelegos (if he shows up) but…yea…we’ll see.

This m+ season seems.pretty good tbh. One or 2 dungeons i personally dont like, but i know alot of ppl do like em.

Idk if they do only 3 patches an xpsc. I feel its not enough time to cook for a story chapter.
Especially if they go all over.
Spiders to goblins then space? Yea the dark heart is kinda in there but gobbo xpac was more freeing the city with some dark heart/black blood

TZ x2 and Halls of Atonement all slap pretty hard.
I don’t play Retail currently so I could not tell you if any of the returning TWW dungeons are good.

Well remember usually s4 (atleast in df) was that empowered season with raids changing per week.
They just cut out that season.

I have no idea what any of that is but the spider stuff looked dumb and the goblin stuff looked dumb. Glad they’re abandoning all that, giving us a new hub city (I assume?), and pivoting towards Metzen’s story. The pink-hairs don’t really know how to build hype. DF was so not-hype and TWW was also not-hype.

Gambit is one of the most beloved keys ever. Streets is solid but probably not as beloved.
Guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion though.

Still its not like motherload. Idk why but that dungeon makes me rage.
Im also a weird sob, so take my opinion on dungeons with a grain of salt xD.

The kobyss were the fish people in hallowfall coming from the ocean. They were kidnapping and eating/sacrificing people iirc
That undersea has some cthulu vibes with it. There is a side quest saving a fish that turns out to be a mistake because that fish is juiced and super evil with a story bread crumb alluding to terrors in the deep. Im an old god fan so want more lovecraftian horror.
You highlight my point with the jumping around. Spiders could be interesting but we curb stomped them in like 30 mins of showing up then moved on. So they are lame. Didn’t need to be tht way

Im just curious if well actually fight dimensius this patch.
Would be kind of weird to beat xalataths boss, even if he isnt at full power when summoned.
Maybe we lose that fight? Maybe our loss to dimensius and xaletath is what starts midnight.
