In this thread, I will provide my thoughts and feedback on any changes or ongoing issues with all existing abilities for Death Knights. Im only going to mention abilities that could use changes, IMO. Im also leaving out the classic spell effects, since thats a whole project in itself that will involve new new art and effects from scratch.
Unholy Assault: This ability’s weapon animation got changed to use the CombatExecute animation as of build 11.2.0.61787. Issue with this is not only does Apocalypse and Soul Reaper use this same animation, its also primarily designed as a dual wield animation. Other issue is this ability is usually chained into Apoc to boot, so theres no sense of sword play when the same animation is played back to back. It also lacks a proper weapon trail effect.

Commander of the Undead: This spell could still use a spell effect on our transformed ghoul. Its a capstone talent, so it should look like one.

Desecrate: Nothing fancy, just a simple red aura effect on the character will do the trick. Not only to add flair, but visible indications on the character helps the player know that the desecrate buff is active on them without having to look at the buff bar.

So far, Im pretty pleased with what I see for DK visual updates. Only other criticism that I can give are for abilities that spawn weapons into our hands like Frostscythe and Festering Scythe. It can cause an odd overlap over what we already have equipped.
