11.2 Ghosts of Karesh

  1. With zero addons at play the chat text seems huge. Last patch everything was fine and all of my settings were not changed.

  2. If Valorstones don’t reset, shouldn’t they be uncapped? Capped at 2k doesn’t feel good and seems arbitrary.

  3. Being capped in valorstones and not being able to upgrade gear from last patch creates an incentive to not play the game. YIKES
    A question I asked myself right away while playing was “why do the main questline when I’m already capped on valorstones and cant upgrade my current gear?”

Positive feedback- :smiley:

  1. /lean emote is a fantastic addition. I would like to see more emotes in the game like this that increase immersion.

  2. Servers went up nicely, seems smooth for the most part. Sharding is working as intended. Although I would like to see a bit more people doing the content I am doing out in the world.

  3. New UI and Settings options feel good. In game textures and collision boxes are working as intended, great work team!

  4. Happy to see nice looking cutscenes again!
    Last patch was a bit of a letdown and felt under industry standard regarding the cutscenes in the Arathi Highlands questline. Personally I am of the view of… if it looks rushed don’t do it.

Note:
Not handing in your homework sometimes is better than handing in an assignment (Arathi Cutscene) that doesn’t hit the industry standard.

Overall I am excited for this patch and future patches to come. Fantastic Voice acting and world building. Changes to class talents are good. Again, great work so far.

I opened a radiant cache from the 4 small keyflame weekly and the Imperfect ascendancy serum trinket I was supposedly awarded isn’t in my bags.

edit: That’s weird. The trinket showed up in my bags later, but it had been invisible and unsearchable at the time of reporting.

  1. /Lean has a bug it only shows you leaning others wont see it… and when you talk you make the same talk animations instead of just your head and mouth moving…
  2. If your a large race with growth effects your head will look at the crotches of other races and wont look directly at or up at other races faces… its very noticeable with the dracthyr race.

This patch has been a bug-filled mess.

  • Random disconnects.
  • Quests often being stuck (you accept the quest, but it isn’t in your log and the exclamation point returns over the NPCs head but they now have nothing to say. Relog required to fix.
  • Some quests fail to progress correctly. Relog required to fix.
  • every so often certain mobs report “that target is obscured from your vision” and you are unable to attack them. This will sometimes be only one of a pack of three that you can otherwise attack just fine.
  • Game and NPCs will become unresponsive and you are then unable to logout or quit game without alt-F4
  • Extra action button will sometimes disappear while still in the quest area requiring you to return to the NPC over and over again to redo the dialogue to get it back.
  • I could go on, but these days this seems to be the rule and no longer the exception. Sad to see it.

The bugs are so bad this is becoming unplayable, the repair button at ALL vendors has vanished for me in game. I’m trying uninstalling/reinstalling in the hopes it’ll fix it, but this is the most frustrated I’ve ever been with an MMORPG in a very very long time.

Selfie cam on the bee questline breaks and cannot complete. It’s bad enough this drags out for many hours.
