Can’t we just have this now? Why make us wait another week and a half.
Or to avoid an “unfair advantage” give it to us this coming Tuesday.

I don’t mind the wait. But we really need this for Darkfuse Solutions too.
Why didn’t they add this to the Darkfuse?
That grind sucks, don’t even start the whole “WELL I DID IT BEFORE THE BUFFS.” No one cares.
lmao.
So uh…if we’re talking about 100% buffs, then my question is…
Why did it go live the way it is now if it’s clearly nowhere near the intended target?
Because this is how every cycle of blizzard development has worked since, well, basically MoP.
They release something in an initial version of being slow, timegated, player unfriendly and just plain lacking. And we all get used to it. Then when they inevitably take the foot of the brakes and make it into something that respects our time, we sing their praises.
Virtually every system they have added or reworked in the last decade has been like this, and it will continue being like this probably forever.
I get the idea…it limits the progress of the motivated players and keeps them closer to whete regular players will be after the buff
But it still sucks for everybody
The way it is now was the intended target, because the devs intend us to keep playing the content. The change is answering players’ requests/complaints about how long it’s taking because players don’t want to keep playing the content, they want their rewards now.
My theory would be because it may be more involved than flipping a switch and takes the incoming patch code.
Or to make sure we still have something to do with Undermine in 11.1.5.
Or both.
I dunno.
Glad to see this. Doing 1 (of 5) reps is like 5 weeks of world quests and side gigs. A casual 25 week grind. No player power is tied to these cartels but that’s still pretty savage.
Why on earth did they not spill into each other and overlap like Severed Threads sub-reputations.
Why would they lol
Several hour grind vs several months grind
because its boring and awful? horrible grind.
Because that is acquired by currency.
And entirely optional, don’t do it then
I appreciate these changes over time, a lot, and do hope they keep them up. I’ve found that a really nice sweet spot as a player of MMOs (most experience is with FFXIV though, more new to this) is with the slightly old and very old content. You can have reasonable grinds (usually), get cool stuff, and then just keep up on story and try some of the raids here and there but not bother with “do this daily 10k times” “do the dungeon 500 times” type stuff that is honestly just like “no thanks”. It’s not that I can’t, it’s that I don’t want to lol.
That said sometimes I feel bad with these changes happening like a sort of “massive discount” after you already purchased at full price. I STILL VERY MUCH want these changes, but with that thought in mind I wondered if Blizzard had a thought on this suggestion:
Also going to repitch the adventure mode option though since I feel it fits here, I like the easy grind but the hyper easy (due to gear) gameplay I could do without… and so if they were willing consider an adventure mode that adds an additional bonus by curves your power level down a bit (especially like solo’ing old raids and you just 1 shot everything and have to do that 20 times).
The cartel reps are an issue. But The serious problem is darkfuse.
Its not required… right now, but I would not be surprised if its revealed in SE 3 or 4 that the Darkfuse is required to get the meta achievement for TWW. Honestly, getting Exalted with them reminded me of the grind for the Colbalt Assembly rep in DF.
That being said it is what it is. I found putting on some kind of video game analysis and going back and forth between scrap events passsed the time. Just reached Exalted with them earlier today, actually. Kinda odd that the Exalted reward is the trench coat, you’d think it would be the mount and the coat would be the Revered reward, but still, another Exalted down. Three more for the 60th mark. :3
