Just making a thread here to show off the cool new tier that has been datamined for us. :] It may not be for everyone, but after so many animal corpse tiers, I’m definitely excited for something a little different. I look forward to seeing how it looks on other races though… Human male proportions are notoriously weird.

Btw, did anyone notice that this set is Dark Ranger inspired and the Nerub one was Pack Leader inspired?

Apon review of all the other tier set appearances, the Devs really out done themselves. Ill need to play my rogue some and get that one also.

I don’t hate it, however I want to know if hoof havers will get actual boots or just ankle wraps as usual.
Someone needs to check this for me but has hunter or any rogue class tiers that’s not so heavy on…weight? Like if I told you this was for dk at first glance, I don’t think many people would disagree and in what sense does this design fit the class, raid, and expansion theme?
Like I suggested in my post that why not spend the 3 raids/seasons of this expansion and design a tier set fit for every hero talent of every class? I would really like a light weight, flowy cape and hood, maybe some shadowy mists as a DR set than this hunk of junk.

You might get your light and flowy little red riding hood outfit next expansion. For now its heavy metal, street racing, and gambling for 11.1.

Huh, I didn’t notice that. Here’s hoping the Sentinel themed one is good in s3. I’ll use a few pieces here and there from this set. I’m not a fan of the helm, shoulders, belt, and shoes (blizz stop putting spikes that look like claws on shoes!). I don’t care for this current tier’s hunter set. Still hoping we get an Alleria inspired set at some point, but that probably won’t happen until Midnight.
Looks like a spiritual successor to Scourgestalker from Ulduar.
It looks like an unused set from SL. Has color scheme of Sylvanas and as same aesthetic as the gear from Shadowlands. It doesn’t match with the raid it comes from either.

As someone said above, it looks like they’re basing each tier this expac off of each hero talent spec. This patch is dark ranger. So no, I think this was quite intentional!
There’s the actual Dark Ranger outfit, and just got Sylvanas’s outfit. How much more can you get into Dark Ranger’s aesthetic?
I think they could have gone with a more Steampunk look to go with the Goblin theme raid.

It has a high-quality material look to it. Like that gear actually looks thick and beefy. I love that it’s not just an Animal skull with a cloth hood.
But each to their own personal tastes of course.
The Tier Set bonus is what I’m more interested about. 600% damage + firing like 2/3 times faster sounds funny.

It does not look bad, it just looks terrible in relation to the raid it is from. This is a goblin raid, this does not fit in any way, shape, or form.
Lets be 100% honest, they used an already created asset to cut time and effort. The amount of creative, wonky armor they could have created for a goblin raid is insane. This is just world content level armor design.
Seriously makes us look like a DK from Wrath lol. Again, it is not terrible armor, it just does not match the raid…
