11.0.5 = Unacceptable

I want to vomit from what I’ve already seen.

Not this patch, but dc’ing because your mount clips water/mountain/building hasn’t been addressed. This has remained unfixed since at least the release of DF. They reduced it, but I still routinely get dc’d flying out of water.

Can someone explain to me?

Is it unplayable? Nope, not on me. I tried all the Event. It worked. Weekly Quests got completed. Got the rewards, Bronze, Coffer keys (for exchange for rewards), Raids worked, Bad Pugs got Destroyed.

Went to Dornagal to do weeklies and still getting Bronze although small. It’s okay. We have up to January to redo them over and over.

What’s wrong? Becoz you didnt get your T2 set in day 1? Becoz you failed to faceroll the Event Raids?

There is PTR… beta. Why would you need QA if there is Beta? Which issues found in Beta not resolved? Are those issues flagged as issues or not? Did you report it as bug? And never received a response? Maybe it’s not a bug, it’s a feature.

Have to agree. I have not enjoyed this patch for several reasons:

  1. Bugs:
  • Chromie Scenario will DC you and kick you out of it completely, leaving you to queue again… which for some reason is on a 25 mins wait time… where the hell are the players? The scenario doesn’t even need Tanks/Healers/DPS compositions.
  • Conquest is not being awarded when you win a Korrak’s even though you’re supposed to.
  • The continuing “flyhack” -DC bug.
  • Targeting: I will lose target while attacking said target and have to re-Tab or click to target again.
  • Open Dungeon Finder with Keybind, but it opens the Journal instead, I have to /reload and it goes away until it happens again.
  1. Lag:
  • I run on a Home and World latency of under 50 ms at any given time. I live an hour away from their HQ for goodness sake… and yet… they were not prepared to handle this traffic?
  • Korrak is unplayable during peak hours.
  • Event area is unplayable if more than 1 World Boss is engaged.
  • Entire Isle of Dorn eats a brick when Theater happens.
I mean… wasn’t “sharding” supposed to deal with this?
  1. Tuning:
  • BRD: I could write a book about all the things wrong with this raid. But in short… OBVIOUSLY over-tuned to the point that it isn’t even funny. Wasn’t this tested in PTR? Isn’t this an INCLUSIVE celebration? What are we even doing here?
I have YET to read or hear a single person enjoy this raid. Casuals and Mythic Raiders alike, all agree it is DUMB.
  • Paladin’s Sac is broken
  • Mist Monk is broken
  • BM Hunter is broken
  • OUTLAW ROGUE LOL is broken

And these are just things I personally experienced. I’m sure there are more.

I think everyone knows the issues at Blizzard, but nobody wants to say it for varying reasons

You won’t get an answer to that question. People come up with crap just to stir the pot not thinking about how it diminishes actual complaints with the game. Devs treat legacy content like crap. They offer us no challenge outside Vault content. World and exploratory content is vapid and irrelevant past certain milestones if you do Vault content.

But nah. It’s always “muh bugs” “muh maintenance extension” “muh slap in the face fetish.”

Its all about selling half sized expansions now as fast as possible for 80 whatever dollars. Kinda like when you go to the grocery stores over the years and you notice the size of the food packages is just getting smaller and smaller but for the same price or even more expensive

Hard pill to swallow, but people stick around because every other MMORPG sucks.

You must not follow gaming news.
It’s extremely obvious the devs got screwed by activision and again after the merger with microsoft. They lost over 1,000 people after the merger.

That was across the entire company. The WoW team is so massive they could lose probably half their staff and still outnumber most other MMO developers lol.

and?

Try losing more than 1k of your employees and notice no degrade in quality.

This is the fourth thread in a row I read that is rioting about bugs without actually listing any specific bugs.

The people in marketing and HR aren’t usually the ones checking game quality lol.

The wow team only has 3-400 employees and they lost at least 100 from the layoffs.

Its because mindless consumers, people need to unsub from the game, and then people will start to actually see change. Its the only way you will get to them, vote with your wallet not the forums.
