I have a feeling that TWW will have the same timeline as dragonflight or even shorter depends on how fast they can push content out.
Why I use the term “fast approaching” is because the PTR is about to come online and so that might give us a clue on when it will come on to live servers.
I hope not.
They need to fix the bugs first!
The implied goal was already 18 months, so that would align it to being shorter than DF.

If the expansion is only like 18 months long (down from the traditional 24 months), I really won’t mind… as long as the bugs are fixed and affected players are made whole
Perhaps shorter expansions would be well-received by the playerbase, since content droughts have become an issue in recent years (especially Shadowlands) and you see people become restless/antsy when content turns stale
Apparently not because the hall monitors are telling us now that TWW is supposed to last two years. Yup we can not find a straight answer from anyone about this expansion so far.
Yeah they stated it would be on the PTR soon in the video they released yesterday.
The anniversary event is the entire patch.
