The discords have builds out already and guides are already updated
Builds are easy to come up with and the sims are very borked. and a WIP. but live results have shown it to be pretty good. just look at any of the warcraft logs atm.
I’ve played mm since I started 14yrs ago. I gave up on dark ranger and I’m not one to swap spec/tree for dps but, I had to. Dark ranger was not an ideal rotation. Now, with steady shot back in regular rotation, sentinel feels like MM Hunter in cata and im happy with that!
Doesn’t mean they are min maxing.
You mean where BM PL is dominating?

Play my hunter since BC. During ICC I still remember is SV first and stack crt and then once you start having 50% armor pen you swap to MM. I was always the top 3 dps in IIC25 heroic.
Now they gutted the hunter spec

Dark Ranger will be the PvP spec for BM and MM.
Similar to how Night Fae was the PvE covenant for BM in Shadowlands while Venthyr was the PvP one.
It should be a viable second option especially since it was a flagship spec and one so many people wanted for years even as a standalone class … I wish somebody at Blizz would address it

Dark Ranger is officially 150,000 dps lower than Sentinel for MM hunter in both single target and AOE.

Whelp now it is an emergency, they didnt fix any of the bad bugs and fixed the only benefical one. its basically over an its sad that as a top 50 MM 1 trick every single tier that i had to have a double scaling mastery bug to tie even some of the specs i played with in 10/11s for weekly keys. like i literally did 1.89m damage an a enhance did 1.91m in a 11 ara kara, the unholy did 1.73m but he was a blue parsing heroic raider (no offense) even in raid i was maybe slightly ahead of our enhance/ele/mages. its kinda silly that having 40% more damage on my ability that does 35% of my total damage was the only way for a dedicated player like myself to even compete with other classes. i would suggest not doing these nerfs and instead fix the bugs plauging the class. there are a lot of them and they are massively hurting the dps of the hero talent.

The patch notes for the upcoming Tuesday reset have eroded nearly all remaining faith I had in this dev team.
Dark Ranger MM is being nerfed for “overperforming” on single-target.
Is this real life? Are they looking at bugged numbers and completely forgetting the hotfix they put in mere days ago? Is an AI doing the tuning passes?
So a hero tree that received a full rework just last week is being filed away again along with other dead hero trees like Master of Harmony, Flameshaper, and San’layn. Make it make sense. I’m baffled.

I find it comical that they have someone working on a 100 dollar mount but cant take some of that genius and put it into fixing DR. I bet the same guy suggested nerfing/fixing DR in the upcoming patch…
very disheartened, it feels like they want less people playing hunter.
