This balance patch is less about tuning specs in the ‘meta’ and more about bringing Hero Talents closer together.
Slayer’s 2% drop on overwhelmed brings both Colossus and Thane closer to it which is a fine tuning knob.
Warbreaker getting a radius increase is w/e.
Warbringer (assuming they misspelled Warbreaker instead of nerfing the PvP talent’s aoe), is a bit weird since it’s not really picked for the damage it deals anyhow and more for the dmg amp it provides.
Thunderous Roar’s target cap nerf apparently only effects the direct damage and not the DoT so the ‘nerf’ is minute at best.
I guess their main goal is to fix up the lack of tuning between hero talents before they adjust with aura buffs.
Arms will still be solid in keys (more people are waking up to the destruction of Colossus in keys).

Thats probably all true, but after a few patches of mostly nerfs, you see the 11.0.5 changes and almost all the other classes have books worth of interesting changes and then you see warrior’s, it’s definitely a let down kind of feeling.

Got another apologist here. No warrior who actually loves the class in their right mind thinks any of these things listed are good changes for the health of the specializations.
The whole target capping nonsense and the genesis of these dumb changes are a knee jerk reaction to a handful of add fights in raid that has already been beaten on mythic.
Destruction of colossus in keys? You mean it’s awful single target or fact you stand still and can get instant dropped during your window which doesn’t sync well with other CD.

Colossus can suck it. Terrible hero talent. Single target is terrible and build up for lack luster dmg is even worse. I rather run slayer and cleave for aoe reaps not to mention the easy 900k single target on boss fights. They just need to make colossus better and stop nerfing slayer to match colossus. I rather fall off slightly aoe dps than fall off 200-300k on single target.

they nerfed slayer because of fury, not because of arms. They won’t bring colossus up because that also buffs prot warrior where colossus is actually pretty decent. You just sit on the stacks and spam revenge, it’s just slower and less defensive than thane so it’s not meta.
This entire system is a mistake in design unless they start to split them more, but they don’t like to do that(see pve vs pvp tuning and how rarely they do it). I worry what will end up happening is they all get nerfed to the point it barely matters and is just a flavor pick, because then they all have minimal impact on spec tuning and saves them the effort. Blizzard is one thing above all and that’s lazy.

It’s ST is more than fine with proper play in keys exploiting the talents you build into for AoE, it also makes up for doing a lot of trash damage and priority damage during vuln phases. A well played Colossus does well against the “Meta”. But given how you always think otherwise you are not playing it correctly, that I can guarantee.
See above, It’s got some pretty solid nuance to it that enables skill expression to shine.
The difference in M+ builds for ST is not that large when played correctly.
Then again if you’re only doing +6 keys you’re most likely not using your whole toolkit how you should, the both of you. Maybe instead of being reactionary and dismissing, try listening and you may just pickup some tips on how to actually use what is available.

While I am sure I am not playing colossus the most optimally, I did well enough on the keys I tried with it to be competitive and consistent. Only Frost DK was crapping on my damage. For me its contrast of a more patient play style that doesn’t kill my hand like fury was appealing but it’s just not that impressive despite what you say, and we really don’t offer a lot as fury or arms in keys compared to other dps.
