Same thing happened to us. Nobody can use the cores - they say you’re out of range.
Yep, our guild just tried it. Tainted core still bugged as of 10:34pm ET.
Tried as well, none of the pillars are responsive to the orb.

Confirmed broken for us as well. We tried disabling all addons, every single person in the raid tried using it - no success. Genuinely baffling how you can continually put out such garbage content.

This is Blizzard’s way of getting back at the community for asking that the fights that are still broken on release be fixed. By introducing new problems, we cannot claim they were already pointed out on the PTR.
Not the most straightforward way of avoiding certain criticisms but at least Blizzard is constantly innovating.

Interact on mouseover as temp fix
Only 2 players in our raid could dunk the cores. You guys are really testing the amount of bs people are willing to deal with.

It was maintenance today so, they had to scuff something. Wouldn’t be activision otherwise.
